Was It Worth It?

Quite resoundingly I would have to say yes.

Three months ago I started to transfer and enhance some of my better stories into eBooks, as well as writing a plethora of new spanking stories. This is where I stand after 90 days.

So far I have sold 181 books as well as gaining over 41,000 Kindle Unlimited page reads. 25 pages reads equals a dollar. That is a combined number between all five books that I have for sale. My goal is still to release a book a month for the rest of the year, though I will be happy with 5 new books in the next 8 months.

The book I am currently working on is up to 8,000 words already, so I am roughly a third of the way through. My goal is to get  that book completed by the time my birthday comes on the 23rd. Book number 6 will have a definite connection to British spankings.

One man with five books and I earned $522 in 90 days, it seriously makes you wonder just how much more established publishers are raking in 😉 I couldn’t be happier with the start of this venture. There is a place for spankings over panties in this little world of ours.

You will always get plenty of free spanking stuff from me, as you have done for the last eighteen and a half years. So please pardon me for a day while I do a promotional post regarding my eBook collection. Below is the table that I created for my collection of books, and to be really honest with you, I am pretty proud with how it turned out.

Tomorrow there will be a brand new spanking pic that I discovered this week by chance. I had found a pic from the play ‘Act your age’, but hidden on the very same page was a smaller version that appears to be from a rehearsal, it was easily missed so I was happy I spotted it.

Out of frustration, their neighbor, Brian, threatens her with a spanking for her birthday after another saucy innuendo from Laura. Surprisingly, Laura’s mom agrees to this and advocates for Brian to do just that. Laura gets a lengthy birthday spanking, seeks revenge the next day, which earns her a much more painful spanking, and soon, getting a spanking is nothing new to her. Unfortunately it took me a little longer than I had anticipated, but I am pleased to announce that my 5th spanking eBook has been released. Like all of my other books, if you have Kindle Unlimited then the book is free to read. Otherwise it is $2.99 to own, the lowest that I can sell it under the terms that I agree to on Amazon.

This eBook is devoted to the Omega-Theta-Kappa sorority, OTK for short 😉 However, don’t let the title completely fool you, the majority of the book, save for the initiation ceremony at the end, involves the old man who runs the local country store. The country store is where the new pledges buy their paddles, and the store owner makes sure that they understand the impact of their new paddles before they leave the store. They didn’t get the name OTK for nothing!

Normally I shoot for between 22,000 and 25,000 words so that readers can get value for their money, but I overdid this one a little bit, and it comes in at 27,000 words.

Book Summary

30 Day Report

And so it begins. Today it is the first day of daily spanking uploads over on my new emergency backup blog, RICHARD WINDSOR BLOG.

Right now I have pre-posted through April the 15th already, and I hope to have April finished by tomorrow if I can. The first image today features two spanking nurses from the 1960s. Just click the highlighted text above to visit and bookmark the new site. Y’all already know that I have a plethora of spanking gems hidden away, so you are sure to find some great pictures there.

Speaking of which, before I continue with my prose, I had stuck this image in the folder for the new blog, but the more I looked at it then the more I thought that it would have a home on my main blog. So for those of you who like the pictures and not my waffling, here is today’s image. The writing continues below for those of you who like that as well.

Now, as I had mentioned a few times previously, here is the report for the first 30 days of selling books on Amazon. Keep in mind, this is only for four books, but it gives you an idea of what can be achieved. Obviously the first month or two the books will do fairly well, but will then taper off after that.

If I can get a new book up each month, though, then it should keep things ticking over nicely and, of course, a new book will bring new customers to check out my archive.

At the moment I am working on a couple of ‘Country Store Paddle’ spankings. The first of which involves a young woman arriving at a Christian sorority, who is sent by the sorority housemother to the local country store to buy her own paddle. She will then be paddled by the storekeeper (paddle testing) and then by the housemother.

The second idea I have is for two women to go on a 1,800 mile road trip. To break up the monotony, they adopt the roles of mother and daughter, which will include stopping at a country store to buy a paddle, and then road trip spankings. Be it on the side of the road, rest stop areas, or motels with thin walls, the options are endless. I will need a third story which I haven’t thought of yet, but I will come up with something I am sure.

So here are the numbers for those interested, just look at the highlighted area on the right hand side. Obviously there is a few weeks delay between the first book and the last book, which is reflected by the totals. So far it works out to $169 for 95 hours of work. Well below minimum wage, but I expect down the line the money on these four books will continue to grow, albeit at a slower pace.

Now I will kick myself for not having started this years ago, but there is no point crying over spilt milk. Moving forward I hope that this venture of a book a month helps to supplement my retirement. Assuming of course that the Billionaires don’t nuke our social security.

It’s funny really, just yesterday I saw that loathsome citizen tell everyone that Social Security is an entitlement, and I think it is the first time I have agreed with him. He is 100% correct, it IS an entitlement. This is something that I have paid into for decades, therefore I’m entitled to MY money, now that it is time to pay it back.

This was a rather unique spanking mag that I stumbled across. This one I had never heard of before, and I wonder how long it lasted. Book Number 4 Now Published

My original goal had been to been to release 4 spanking eBooks in February, and then one a month for the rest of the year. Obviously I am a few days behind schedule, but I finally got the 4th spanking book completed today. I’m really happy with how this one turned out.

This book was based on the short story that I posted on this blog called Laura’s Birthday Spanking. That story is now 22,000 words long and it has ten chapters to it. The book is about the same length as the last book I put out, Discovering Spanking.

If you work on the premise that I write a thousand words an hour, and that time will include editing, proofreading and book preparation, then a 22,000 word book would have taken me about 22 hours to complete. So a lot of work goes into these books, hence why my schedule now is to churn out one book a month moving forward. It can be quite a time consuming process.

Writing Like A Maniac

My goal had been to have 4 books up on Amazon before the end of the month, but I am a little behind schedule and I’m not sure if I will have the 4th book finished by the end of the week. At the moment I am at 4,300 words, and my goal today is to get to 6,500 words. That is still a long way to get to the eventual goal of 22,000 words. If I bust my hump then I might get to 10,000 by tomorrow, but that is still woefully short.

One thing I have been keeping an eye on is the stats for each book. In the first two weeks and change, I have so far accumulated $91 in sales, and at the end of the week I will break it down for you. There is one very interesting thing that I have noticed though, and that is the Kindle Unlimited option where people can read the books for free. It was a big surprise to me that 80% of what I have earned so far has been from flat out sales of the entire book.

The Kindle Unlimited portion of sales only accounts for 20% of all earnings.
This is what caught my eye though, and that is the third book, shown below, has a disproportionately higher rate of free reads compared to the other two books.

My theory on this is as follows. Because the stories in book 3 are virtually all new stories, it is my guess that readers of this blog are the ones who have read it for free. Not everyone of course, I fully understand that a few people have been kind enough to buy the books as a thank you for the 18 plus years I have run this free blog.

Unfortunately you can’t get to see exactly what portion of the books have been read, but I also have another theory. As book 3 contains one F/M spanking story, I also have a feeling that a good number of free readers selected the book solely for that story, and they skipped the rest of the book. It might be too early to read into stats just yet, but I did find it fascinating that the book with the never before published stories, has been the one that people have been reading for free.

Now don’t worry, even though I have previously stated that for the month of February I had planned to use this blog as a means to kick start my new venture, you will still get spanking pics whenever I talk about the books. So here you go, some good old vintage OTK spanking fun.

Remembering Matron:

Charlotte is the headmistress of a private school in London, and Emma is the student body counselor. Emma grew up on a council estate outside of London, while Charlotte grew up in wealth. After work one day, Charlotte invites Emma to her cottage on the school grounds, it is here where Emma learns that Charlotte’s matron at boarding school used to wallop her with a slipper. Horrified at first, Emma soon sees a replica of the slipper in the coming weeks. Curiosity gets the better of her and she asks Charlotte to spank her, just like matron used to do to Charlotte.

Matthew Visits his Neighbor:

Four years earlier, Matthew’s neighbor, Joanne, would playfully threaten him with a spanking. Now a college grad at 22, Matthew will soon be leaving the state to start a new job. On a visit to Joanne she finds out his birthday is coming up, and she asks him what he wants. He suggests a birthday spanking. What he gets for his trouble is a good sound spanking on his birthday instead. A real bare-bottom burner.

Trapped in a Window:

Steffi and Sue are starting university away from home. They go to live with an old friend of Steffi’s uncle. Part of the arrangement, as approved by both sets of parents of the two young women, is that the old friend, George, will act as their guardian, and both girls are aware that spanking rights have been granted. After testing the water for a few weeks, the girls one day jump up and lean through an old window while George is cooking. The old window slowly inches down until it traps them. George takes advantage of this mishap by retrieving his wooden butter patter out of the drawer. Two silky clad bottoms get a roasting. The following day Sue is mad over the spanking the night before, and she soon earns herself a bare-bottom, over the knee spanking.

Spanked in the Snow:

Gail is a bright young woman who has settled herself in the old country town rather than heading to the city to work. It looks like old Windsor has taken a bit of a break, doesn’t it? Fear not though, as I have mentioned from time to time I am going to disappear on occasion, but then I will also have periods where I have a posting blitz.

Obviously all of my focus as of late has been devoted to my VANILLA YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

My 61st birthday is just two weeks away and my blog is the only place that I celebrate it. On social media I hide my birthday, so this is the only place that people will know it is my birthday.

Last year I posted 60 unique pics for my birthday, including some real gems. The TENNIS COACH SPANKING HER STUDENT tends to stick out in my memory bank. This year I am not going to tie myself down with such a project, however I will make a big post on my birthday with the usual collection of unseen gems from my collection.

There Appears To Have Been A Malfuntion

If you have visited this site in the last couple of days you would have noticed a critical error. The good news is that my host fixed it for me, but the bad news is that I only have a month before the change that caused the issue will be permanent. So I have to backup my website just in case a major error occurs. If my site goes down in four weeks time just know that I will be working in the background to try and fix it.

The image this week I have no earthly idea where I found it. I’m not one of these people who builds their own websites by taking globs and globs of spanking pics from other spanking websites, I prefer to build my own little corner of the spanking world by providing original material as much as I can. If I took a pic from another spanking website then I would be sure to mark the image as such because I have a code of ethics that I adhere to. As this image isn’t marked as such then it means that I found it on a non spanking source somewhere, quite likely on Ebay but I’m not certain.

Anyway, a bare bottom spanking pic is quite rare for this website, so enjoy it while you can. The location is apparently Fairplay, Colorado. I think that the going rate in today’s money has to be somewhere in the region of $150 – $300 an hour, right?
