Bumped From The Bonanza

Yesterday I told you that I had selected 60 pictures for the upcoming birthday bonanza, but things have changed already, lol. Today I found two wonderful spanking pics from a play, one of which has been posted on the Internet before, albeit in a heavily truncated form. As I have numerous pics from that play already in my archive, though I have never posted any of them and the oldest was download in December of 2012, lol, I will no doubt have a third image somewhere to add to them.

So the three images that I had selected from the play “People are Funny” have been bumped and replaced by the new selection.

Not to worry though, you are always going to get what I have regardless. Here is one of those images from the play “People are Funny”. This image will join the other three that I have already posted that can be found in the VARIOUS SCHOOL PLAYS folder.

You may ask yourself, what is with all of the posting as of late? It’s simple really, and I’m not being morbid here, but I won’t be around forever, nor perhaps will I be interested in continuing a spanking blog a few years down the line. Life can change for us all in a heartbeat, so there may be a time where I simply can’t post anymore for whatever reason.

It is insane the amount of pics that I have amassed over the years, hundreds of which have not been seen in the spanking community before. Should my life change in any way, what would have been the point of spending all of those countless hours scanning books and periodicals for many years, if I didn’t share those pictures with you all.

Many weeks go by where I find more pics than I post, and I dare say that on one of my external drives I have images that I have long forgotten about over time. Plus, running three spanking blogs became too much for me at one point in time, so I let the vintage blog close. So every pic that I ever posted on that site still needs to be posted here as well 🙂

This week I will be pre-posting the 20 posts that I am making to celebrate my birthday, starting on the 23rd of this month, so that will run well into June. And of course in those 20 days I am likely to find 60 more spanking pics to replace them, haha.

As you get older you realize that you want to leave a positive image behind you when it is your time to go. I really don’t think that anyone wants people to view them as a Qunt until it is too late. That is a topic that I could write a book on, and I fear that because of the Internet the world will see more and more hate as the years go by. Indeed, my use of the word ‘Qunt’ was poached from Twitter, a derogatory term that is used for a rather brash individual.

One thing that I did yesterday was to sign up as a user on a British newspaper site. Once you register you get to view three pages for free, so you have to pick wisely and the thumbnails that you get as a preview are absurdly small, so much so that you can’t even see what the image contains.

As I no longer have any family I tend to buy myself a present every year for my birthday and for Christmas. I know that sounds a bit sad, but it really isn’t, it is a simple fact of life that I no longer have a family to share gifts with, so I treat myself to a gift twice a year. Trust me, I make out like a bandit on the deal 🙂 I’m thinking that for my birthday this year I might just treat myself to a subscription to this site so that I can scour the millions of newspaper pages that it contains. Being that I am British myself, I will more than likely know what search terms that could be used in descriptions to find some extra rare images.

Anyway, with my three free page views yesterday I came up with the following. An image that I already owned, lol, a page that contained, as we would say in England, absolutely fuck all, and finally this image, an actual spanking image.

The publication is from January of 1940, so I don’t know if they are saying that this production started in 1940, or if they are simply quoting an original clipping and that the production started in 1935. My guess, being that I also possess this same image from a different newspaper, is that the production began in 1940. In fact after double checking it I am almost certain that is the case. I don’t really get too hung up on the semantics anyway.

Windsor Wednesday Classic – 258

Had it not been for the need to put Wednesday in the title I could have easily titled this post “The Death of a Spanking Blog”!

Today I took a look at the stats for this blog for the first time in ages and I was stunned by what I saw. Back in October of 2022 I took a two week break and the blog never recovered from that.

While the numbers are never going to go back to what they were a dozen or so years ago, they had held steady for several years at around 600 visitors a day. At the end of October 2022 those numbers plummeted to half of what they once were, and now they are dripping in at under 300 views a day. Those numbers have held steady for the last 6 months, half of the number of daily visitors to what it was a year ago.

Obviously there are several contributing factors to this. I am no longer on any form of social media in a spanking sense, as in no Fetlife account and no spanking Twitter profile, so there is no medium for me to promote the blog. I do have a Twitter profile but it is now strictly vanilla.

Then we have to take into account that spanking blogs as a whole are slowly becoming a lost art form as people gravitate to other mediums for their spanking fix. That is something that I expected, but I will be honest with you, I didn’t expect a 50% drop in viewership almost overnight.

The final nail in the coffin so to speak is of my own doing. By far the most popular attraction to my spanking blog are the stories that I write, and I simply haven’t written anything new for nearly a year now. Perhaps that is the one area that I should focus on a little more?

The recent posting blitz that I have been on have increased the numbers slightly, pushing the daily visits back up to around the 300 mark, but it is still woefully short of what it once was. Don’t worry about what I am saying though, the blog is still going to be around for a long time to come. Even if it drops to 200 visits a day then that is still 200 people dropping by for some new spanking material for the community. That number alone I think is pretty decent and is still motivating to continue sharing my collection with you all.

Anyway, I was still able to find yet another dozen spanking pics yesterday, albeit poor quality ones. And for the Wednesday classic this week I am going to share a pic from the play “Man of Seventeen” which will be added to my VARIOUS SCHOOL PLAYS folder.

F/M Friday 56

Here is something a little different this week, a play that features an F/F spanking but in this production the spanking is F/M. The play in question is WE DUDE IT and I already have a dozen pics from that play posted in the link, plus I have a dozen more that I have yet to post.

As mentioned in the image the claim is that it is a leap year, but I guess that my knowledge of leap year folklore is somewhat lacking as I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. Guess I will have to do some research this morning.

So the implication is that because it is a leap year, one of the male actors gets spanked. Or it could just be that the role of the person being spanked was played by a male that year instead of a female, something that we are unlikely to ever know.

Growing Up

A new play addition today to add to my collection of VARIOUS SCHOOL PLAYS. This play is entitled “Growing up” and so far the images are few and far between. I only have four images from this play so far and they are tough to search for as the search term is rather generic.

It took a while to determine the genders involved, but I was able to use other images to identify the roles. These two spankings are M/F and M/M. Right now I have a spare half an hour so I will see if I can’t come up with a few more from this play.

Brazilian Kate

Today I am searching through archives of Brazilian newspapers trying to see what I can come up with. On one site I thought for a moment that I had found a new trove to share, but unfortunately the moment that you click on a preview a pay window comes up. I simply can’t keep paying for archives, certainly not one in a foreign language where the search would be dreadfully tiresome.

Still, the search isn’t empty, there are still lots of free newspaper archives out there, even in Brazil. Here is a 2015 Brazilian Kiss Me Kate for you all to enjoy. Click on the image for the full sized version.

Streetcar Sundays – 168

Without trying to sound smug or demeaning, there is a trait that I have which is not present elsewhere. Whenever I share a spanking pic I want you to see the whole thing, not just the section that I determine to be the best section. I post as I like to see, and I always want to see an entire image, especially if other people are present in that image.

Different strokes for different folks of course, but this is how I present my pictures to you.

This could be perhaps because I LOVE to see the faces of the people witnessing a spanking. In the image that I am sharing today there are a total of 14 witnesses to the spanking. From smiling faces to pensive looks, each face can tell a story. For some it could be the joviality of watching someone getting a spanking, yet for others the reality could hit a little closer to home. That’s for you to decide. Windsor Wednesday Classic – 257

To be honest with you, I haven’t done much searching for spanking pics lately. Every now and then I will raid Ebay for any latest offerings, but I have taken a break from spending hours upon hours searching for new material.

With that said however, I still have a plethora of newspaper clippings that I procured during my most recent subscription to a newspaper archive. I probably have around 50 or 60 new clippings to go along with a similar number that I have sat on for years that I have yet to post. In fact I am considering joining another newspaper archive that is perhaps not as well known, but they have a substantial archive to troll through.

Last year I also joined a genealogy website where I found a couple of dozen playful spanking pics. The moral problem that I have there though is that these images come from family collections, and it just doesn’t feel right to share them. It is a real dilemna because there is one pic in particular that I would love to share. It features a serviceman who has come home and he is spanking what one would assume is his love interest. It is from the 1940s and what makes the image really unique is that it is a mixed race spanking, something that is extremely rare from the time frame. It is a delightful image.

Anyway, here is another image from the vast collection of newspaper clippings that I possess. This one is set in the play “Damsels in Distress” and is featured at a Methodist church. There have been many stories written online regarding spankings set in a church, and in fact in my MOTHER SPANKS DAUGHTER – THE BEST FRIEND episode of my mother spanks series I briefly touch on the topic that the church pastor himself owns a spanking paddle.

Delving into my vast archive of newspaper clippings today for a promo image for “Ziegfeld Follies”. What is interesting in this 1950s spanking image is that it was taken in a small New York town, in a place where I actually use to live from 1990-1992.

An interesting side note, I walked to the local supermarket one day for my weekly shop and sat there waiting in a limo outside was none other than Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio. The store was located in an exclusive Connecticut neighborhood and I also once ran into the former tennis star, Mats Wilander in the store. I didn’t bother either of them, other than getting a perfunctory wave from Joltin’ Joe 🙂

The town that I lived in was on the New York/Connecticut border and the closest store within walking distance was in Connecticut.

You won’t need to listen to me blather on endlessly, you can read the text attached to the image for yourselves!

It is a new month so let me give it another shot to get some enthusiasm going and start posting regularly again. For now I am not very wordy, I have no more opinions to give regarding spanking, no more lifestyle anecdotes, I just have a wealth of pictures to still share with you all.

I got turned off by the lifestyle and I’m not sure if I will get it back. There is still hope though, I still have this desire to make one final spanking film. Hopefully my Youtube channel takes off and provides me with enough money to fund a spanking project. I’m not seeking a lot, just enough to fund a spanking film or two.

My goal would be to rent a beach house, hire a couple of models and a female top to work with them, and then put my plan into action. I will take part in some of the early action as an additional spanker, but the idea in my mind is that the guardian is mightily upset that her charges have brought shame to her by getting themselves spanked. She will then of course demonstrate a proper spanking to each girl.

It is a long way off, but I have these ideas floating around my mind. The main vision that I have in my mind is that the female top and myself will also narrate a story to add to the video. This is something that my friends introduced when they were making awesome spanking films, and I really loved the idea of narration to set up the spanking scenes. It will be a lot of work but it is that one thing that I still have left that excites me.
