Now I will be the first to admit, this past year has not exactly been the most fruitful in terms of me posting, however, another year has passed and this blog has now been up for 11 years. A lot has changed over those 11 years, I remember the friends that I had back then, and now, other than a cursory hello here and there I’m really not in touch with many of them. Spanking blogs as well, how many of them have been around for 11 years? I don’t know the answer to that, nor can I be arsed to find out, but there can’t be more than a handful that have lasted that long.
Before I say anything else, let me get this out there. My intention is for this blog to last another eleven years, I still have buckets of material to share with you all, including a handful of photos today which you can see below if you want to skip my waffling on.
Things have definitely changed over the year. A lot of times now my focus when I get bits of spare time in spent doing things that I rarely get to do. This past year I have spent most of my spare time watching Japanese TV drama shows. It is a little hobby that I enjoy and of course as I have just started there is like a billion DVD’s that I can watch. I’m going to have to admit, a little bit of it is because I dream of this alternate universe. When I watch how Japanese people treat each other, I can’t help but wish that the same happened the world over. Perhaps it is because they don’t have to deal with “My religion is better than your religion” on a daily basis, I don’t know, but I love watching their shows and for the most part it is because of how people treat other.
The other side of it is quite simple as well, I have lost interest in the scene. There was a time not so long ago where I would think about spanking 24/7, but now I am lucky if I think about it once a week. There are probably a lot of factors that go into that. A big factor is quite simple, if you go to four or five parties a year over a ten year period, play with say 20 girls at each party in some form or another, you can do the math as to how many times one gets to play. I’m not saying that I am burnt out, just that everything that I ever wanted I have got ten times over. I still very much enjoy a scene, but because I have been so spoiled and privileged in this wonderful world of ours, I’m now at a stage where I only play a few times where I am as likely to get as much out of the scene as the girl is.
If you are interested I once wrote some prose as to what I like in a spanking scene and why, and I am unashamed in thinking that my enjoyment should be worth just as much as the girl I am spanking, or at the least some give and take in two separate scenes to cover both our likes. Of course there are other factors as to why I haven’t posted as much. “Playing to an empty house” does play a small part. That’s where no matter what you post, you receive no feedback or interaction whatsoever. So if you think about it, that is just common sense really. Do I take half an hour to an hour to write a post that nobody gives a fuck about, or do I watch another episode of Great Teacher Onizuka? Pretty easy choice really.
In the scene itself. I personally think that it has changed which is another factor where my interest has waned. I know that by writing this I risk the chance that people will take offense and that spanking producers might get salty, but they don’t have to, all that I speak from is my own interest level. It appears to me that more and more spanking content is changing. My perception, may not be reality, is that the focus more so now is with the graphic depictions of the vagina than it is to do with spanking. In fact some I view as vagina and anus pics with a little bit of spanking thrown in. I offer no criticism, nor do I offer an apology though, as I have stated before, depictions of the vagina in a spanking photo or film is an immediate turn off for me. Obviously they sell because you can hardly see any spanking material free of genitalia anymore, so the material that appeals to me becomes rarer and fewer in selection.
The last thing that has probably changed is myself in person. I’ve always been pretty laid back and easy going, and I guess in a way I am a bit of a loner when it comes to the need to want to be a part of a larger group. Obviously I have my friends who I will spend my time with at parties, but I’m not one who will go out of my way to try to fit in. I’m going to say that it is probably one of my weak points, but I tend not to try and go out of my way to be friends with someone. Now let me clarify that, I’m friendly towards anyone, regardless of their race, creed, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. There is just one caveat to being friends with me, you only have to be warm and friendly, that is it. I don’t work at being friends because I don’t need to, I’m incredibly spoiled with the people that I have in my life. You will never have to tell me twice that I’m not good enough to be your friend, once is more than enough, whether that be with verbal or non verbal cues, I’m smart enough to pick them up!!
In a nutshell I think that this statement pretty much sums up my 54th year, the last fuck has already been given.
