Time to blind you all with some science, and once you are done reading there is a link to some fantastic Halloween costume pics. So this is where we are at on the SPANKING UNIVERSE after 5 days. So far we have had three thousand visitors to the site, which isn’t a bad average of 600 a day as we try to get the word out. Now over half of those visitors have come from my sites directly, which is cool, the whole purpose to this is sharing. For the 25 or so blogs that have linked in so far, we have got anywhere between 10 to 200 visitors from their links in the 5 days since it started. Now it doesn’t seem like a lot, but it really is. If we were to take an average that each blog will send 100 visitors a week, if all 100+ blogs linked in, then that would be a potential for 10,000 visitors a week!!

Now of course due to time constraints, and when your blog was updated, you are probably not going to get the extra 10,000 hits, however, in 5 days I have received 300 extra visitors to this very site and I’m the one who has sent over 50% of all referrals that THE SPANKING UNIVERSE has received so far. Here is the raw data for the new site. On this particular blog, The Spanking Universe trails only Chross in sending people to this site, after just 5 DAYS!! For OldSpankingPics, The Spanking Universe trails Chross and Richardwindsor.com in 3rd place for the most referrals in the last 5 days. For my other 2 sites, the Universe trails only Chross on Spankingpics for referrals, and finally on Spanking Galleries, the Universe is 3rd behind this site and my picture site.

So in a nutshell, in 5 days the SPANKING UNIVERSE has become either the number 2 or number 3 referrer to all my own sites, and I am under no illusion that it is the same for the other blogs listed. In fact I would hazard a guess that it is the top referrer for some blogs. So I’m going to keep plugging away at it because it clearly works, and it can only get bigger for EVERYONE. I would still like to see more people linking in, especially those people who ASKED to be a part of the Universe, yet failed to reciprocate the link. I did remove three sites from the list that only promote affiliate sites. I had asked for a link exchange but didn’t even so much as get a reply from any of them. As their purpose is clearly driven by money and not by the spanking community as a whole, then I have no problem removing them if they don’t plan to share. Let’s be honest, even if we did get a link back, it would be so far down the page that you would need binoculars just to see it 🙂 As I mentioned earlier in the week, I’m not going to be a hardass about this, we are all going to be sharing here. If the purpose of a blog is solely to make money and they don’t link back, then I would rather send the referrers to bloggers who make a little money on the side, but thier main purpose is to take part in the spanking community as a whole. And of course if someone specifically asks to be added to the list, yet fails to share what they have, well, to me that is just plain rude!! So if you are on the Universe already, please consider adding a link back, this is a community project here!! Thank you to all the bloggers who have linked in so far, it is much appreciated.

Finally, as mentioned above, thanks to THE SPANKING UNIVERSE I was able to come across a great set of Halloween pictures. Now they are not all spanking pictures, though some are, but they are as funny as heck.
