Or did I?

For the longest time I haven’t even looked at the stats for this website, but in preparation for some promotion, I had a look to present the information to a third party.

You may have noticed that to enter my site now, my hosting company has installed a cover page to weed out robots. Spam comments at one point on this site were ridiculous, with the filter I had installed capturing 100s of them each week.

So I looked at the stats and in the last two weeks viewership on this website has plummeted. Earlier in the year the traffic I got from search engines accounted for roughly 60% of all traffic to the site. In the last two weeks, search engine traffic now accounts for only 7% of traffic. In a nutshell, if I used to get 600 visitors from Google, I now only get 70 visitors.

After the initial shock though, I started to think. Was all of the traffic that I previously got from search engines nothing but robot traffic, and the new filter is now showing a true reflection of actual visitors to my site? I have a spam filter installed on my site that I clear out frequently, well guess what, there hasn’t been a single spam comment that has made it that far in the last two weeks. The spam filter is empty, and I could usually count on 50-100 spam comments a day. Obviously the new entry page from the hosting company is working a treat.

So I put the theory into practice. I went to Google and entered a term that is completely tied to my website “Spanking nylon panties”, and just like always, stacks of links appear for my website. So it isn’t Google!!

You know what this tells me? Back in the day when I used to get 600-1000 visitors per day, chances are they were never real visitors to begin with! My numbers nowadays are embarrassingly low.

A part of this I think is the natural death of spanking blogs. Back in the day I would visit 20 or so blogs a day myself, and now you would be hard pressed to find me checking out another spanking blog once a week, let alone 20 of them. There are only a handful of us spanking blogs left from 20 years ago.

Is the end in sight? Well look, I’m coming up on my 18th anniversary next month, and I am determined to get to 20 years. I might be foreshadowing closing the blog in May of 2027, but to be honest with you, I will be 64 years old then. Perhaps it will be the time to retire gracefully at that point.

Right, you’re not here to listen to me blather on endlessly about nonsense, are you? You’re here for the spanking pics, right?

  3. I found this genius of an artist several months back and love almost every image he or she does. So many of the images seem like they came from a spanking wish list of some sort. Others just seem so obvious as to force you to say, “well, of course”.

    To be honest many of the images remind me so much of the gems you have found and shared with us for so long. They almost have that same nostalgic quality, even though colored so beautifully.

    Thanks for sharing this artist with your following. I’m sure they will be quite pleased!

  4. I am, if nothing else, a greedy collector of spankings, so I also check your sight almost daily just to add another of your gems to my collection. I mourn the loss of so many great blogs out there and am always so glad to see yours still going on strong. Hell, I’ll be lucky if I make it to 2027 as I’ll almost be 70 years old by then, but I surely do hope and pray you hit your 20th anniversary healthy, happy, and content with your life.

    I’m trying my hardest to find the prompts that are used to create my own. Obviously creators have to protect their own work so nobody is going to share them. So far I have come up with a couple of half decent standing ones, but I can’t for the love of me get one of the characters over the knee, no matter what I try. It will take a long time but I will eventually get there and create some of my own vision.

    Trust me, I know! I’ll be typing away for a new post and all of a sudden the page will freeze and not automatically save my work. I have to open a new tab and go back to my site to force it to allow me in, lol. I understand why they have done it, and like I said it has virtually eradicated all spam comments, but it is a little bit annoying!

    Then you would probably love what I have on my hard drive 🙂 I’ve got dozens of pics that I’m pretty sure haven’t been posted before, if not a hundred or more. I used to be the main source of pics for other blogs like mine for the longest time. Just rip a few dozen pics off, rename them and present them as new finds, lol.

  10. I am in search of a picture that I know I saw somewhere, but I can’t find it. I’m hoping you can be my obi wan.
    The picture is probably from the 60s, maybe the 70s and it shows a father paddling his daughter behind the barn/woodshed at brothers look on.
    I thought I saw it on A Voice in the Corner, but I’ve been unable to find it since. PLEASE HELP!!!
