A little holiday post for now.

I’m enjoying the 4th of July weekend hanging out with my friends and playing a bit of online poker đŸ˜‰ My friend Chross recently posted a staged picture from the movie “Don’t” with Sally O’neil. Well I also have one from the silent actress Sally O’Neil getting spanked though I don’t know if the staged shot is also from “Don’t” or is a different staged movie spanking.

(After reading Dan Rivera’s comment on Chross’ blog it is possible that this pic is from the movie “The battle of the sex’s” featuring Jean Hersholt as Sally’s spanker. I am sure Dan will confirm whether this is so.)

Just recently I also came across a couple of really cool ebay finds. The first one was titled Midge and J and the second one had no title but is one of the best spanking pictures I have come across in a long long time. Two sailor girls in a time frame that I am going to guess is around the 1910-1919 era. Totally awesome pic.

And to finish up with, first of all my vintage spanking site has been updated with a collection of Spick and Span spanking photos http://oldspankingpics.com and also http://spankingpics.blogspot.com has been updated with some webshot finds as well.

  1. Right you are, Richard. The pic with Sally O’Neil standing up and being spanked is from “The Battle of the Sexes” (1928). This film is available on VHS, but the news is not so good. She takes, maybe, TWO swats and then struggles out of her dad’s grasp.

But it brings to mind a question I’ve long wanted to ask, and to get a reply to. Do you think that film actresses who take TWO (or more) screen spankings actually ENJOY that sort of thing in real life?

Miss O’Neil is just one actress who did this twice. There’s a long list, including Lucille Ball, Gale Storm, Ann Sheridan… and, a bit closer to the present era, Heather Graham.

It might make for a lively conversation sometime.

    Cheers,
    Dan

  2. Thanks for posting the picture from Battle of the Sexes, Richard. I’ve always been a bit fascinated by Sally O’ Neil. I’ve seen the pic on Chross’ blog before, but not this one.

Thanks to Dan too for the confirmation.

    Nice work guys!
