Is it true, who knows?

I found this pic online and it appears to be from a movie “Believe It or Not No. 2-3 (WB-Vitaphone short 1931)”. Now obviously the ages of the ladies involved causes some skepticism, however, you will also see a newspaper clipping below the picture from the Pittsburgh press in 1931 repeating the same story. Is it true? Who knows, I will leave that for you to decide, but it does make for a great pic. If it is true then this is probably the oldest combined spanking ever.
