Unfortunately I haven’t got too far with building my story pages. In fact, I am no further than my last post, lol. Another thing that I need to do is the audio for my last book. So far I have audio versions available for my first ten books, but I haven’t gotten around to number eleven just yet.
It’s a quick post today, and it concerns an old newspaper clipping. You know how volatile they can be, but this one isn’t too bad for a microfilm representation of the spanking image.
There did seem to be a lot of spankings in Mother Goose( I did hear there was a spanking in Jack and Jill and it does look like Gretel got spanked by her mother from Hansel and Gretel and Old Woman who lived in a shoe ( I always enjoyed the illustrations that showed the girls getting spanked instead of the boys. ) not a great shot,but it does have its moments. In the early part of the week I get less visitors, so that is normally when I unload the less than ideal pics. What I enjoy finding are stage pics where there isn’t actually a spanking in the play, but whoever was directing it back in the 50s decided to add one. Unfortunately that means that I have to waste time searching because if I find one, I always look for others, but they never appear.
