I had a wonderful time at a private party on Friday night, even if it took me 4 hours to get home on Saturday 🙂 More to come on that later today though, once the REAL football, hockey and American football has finished.
Just for shits and giggle though, on Friday over on the SPANKING UNIVERSE I installed a widget that allows me to see which blogs are benefiting the most from the new site, from extra hits being sent their way. Now, it is only two days worth of data, but it is worth a look at to see how the site is working. The top ten for receiving hits from the SPANKING UNIVERSE over the last two days are as follows:

The only major interesting thing of note is that the top two blogs for receiving hits are the only two to just squeak in as top referrers also, so we are getting there slowly but surely. The contributions of total hits that my series of blogs sends to the new site is currently around 42%, a number that is coming down slightly each day as more people link in. Maybe when the blogs who are in the top ten see this info, maybe they will also link back in at that point. I think every Sunday I might put the weeks data up just for a laugh. The more people post the more likely it is that they will make the top ten for receiving hits, which of course will mean that should someone not go to the Universe, when they come here they will probably see which blogs have posted the most content for the week.
More to come later today, for now it is back to Birmingham versus Manchester City which will be followed by the New York Rangers versus the Boston Bruins 🙂
Great idea, Richard, about launching the “Spanking Universe.” I’ve tried nearly all the blogs listed, and I have a pretty good idea which ones I like and which I do not.
The “good” blogs are the ones that offer the visitor free spanking pics (or videos) to download. Don’t worry, I often DO buy full-length videos, but first I like to see what it’s going to look like. These blogs should be more accommodating to curious browsers (people, not search engines).
