In Ridley in 1972 a poor senior found her way to the principal’s office for some licks with the paddle. Unfortunately for her that paddle looks like it would cover her entire bottom. As always I will add this to one of my many folders that feature some of the most unique pictures that you find, which happens to be a passion of mine. This one will be added to my Sunday Candids folder.

Yeah, that’s American school paddling, for those who have never seen it or who doubt it exists. It’s less common now, 40 years later, but it still occurs.
