Before I start, you might notice that the security measure on my site has disappeared. I’m not sure if it is permanent or if they will restore it soon. My ‘spam’ folder is growing rapidly, so the security measure really works to prevent the bots from coming here.
Yesterday I received an email from ENGLISH DISCIPLINARIAN, and it included an image that he had run through an AI enhancement machine. The vintage picture was stunning, and he said that I could use it. Before I share that image, though, I want to run it through a search engine to ensure that I am not breaking any copyright anywhere. If it clears, then I will be delighted to share it with you; it is an awesome picture.
Based on the prompts that he shared with me, I tried the program out for myself with a picture that I recently uploaded on this site. What do you guys reckon? The top picture is the original, and the bottom picture is the AI-enhanced picture. Two things that caught my eye: firstly, it removed her pull-up stocking that is seen in the original, but on a positive note, the AI-enhanced one actually gave her some facial features. I think that it did a bang-up job!! Perhaps you can spot some changes that I missed?
I’m going to try it on some of those piss-poor images that I have by the hundred. Perhaps it will render a couple of them into a worthwhile photo.

excellent, well worth the effort
A new tool for you. It did clean it up very well. I hope it does enhance others.thanks for trying something new .have a great day. Although I do dislike the security feature if it saves you from bots then a few seconds is not that big of an inconvenience.

Thanks a lot!!
Jim,
I agree with you, and the security feature sliced my daily viewers dramatically, but then again, perhaps those ‘viewers’ were only bots trawling my site? Unfortunately I have no control over it. The only problem with the AI tool is that you can barely get one picture a day. I’m searching for others as AI photo enhancements are getting much better.

Overall a nice job. I suspect the AI treatment made him somewhat more handsome than reality. The one important thing the AI removed was the sense of motion. The motion blur of her foot and hair make it more interesting. Of course, digital cameras tend to do the same.
Warmhand,
See, I never even noticed that about the kicking leg. My hope was to turn some of the shitty pics I have into something decent, but guess what? AI is an enhancement feature, not a magician, lol. I tried one of my own from 1980, a Teddy Boy pic. Did nothing for the actual image, however, it did enhance the scarf that I was wearing, and I was able to recognize that it was indeed Crazy Cavan on the scarf, lol. Little side note, the pic was sent to me a few years ago, and I had no earthly idea who’s face was on my scarf. I assumed it was Cavan because I’ve always been a big fan of his, but I couldn’t be 100% sure. So I’m glad that got cleared up.
