If you understand March Madness pools then you will get this, if not, then enjoy the video 🙂 Right now I am in a pool with a $2380 pot, something that I do every year. Now I normally do fairly decent in this pool but I have never really come close, in fact the games of the sweet 16 is normally where I fall apart. This year is different though, I actually have a shot this year. In the pool I have 2 teams in the top 10 and being someone who likes permutations, I have already worked out where I stand. So you can either root for me, or if you don’t like me you can root against me 🙂

Scenario 1: If Ohio State beat Syracuse tonight, then I have Kentucky beating Ohio St. in the final. Should that happen, I win first prize.

Scenario 2: If Syracuse beat Ohio St. tonight, then I have Kentucky beating Kansas in the final in my other team. Once again, if that happens then I win first prize.
Worst case scenario if my teams advance is Ohio St. beating Syracuse paired with Kentucky beating Kansas in the final. If that happens then I would finish 4th and out of the money 🙂 A Kentucky-Ohio St. final though and I am guaranteed at least 2nd place, and if Ohio St. was to win that then the person who would beat me is a really close friend. There is a long way to go but I at least have a decent shot this year.
