Richard Windsor 2.0 Is Born

Eight months ago the Pup got himself a bit sick and decided to see a Doctor for the first time in about 25 years!! That day I weighed in at a whopping 272lbs. Earlier last year my Brother passed away and in a nutshell he passed away because of his size, weighing in at over 400lbs. Clearly that was a direction that I wanted to try and avoid, however, unless I made some serious lifestyle changes I was heading in that direction. Now I probably weighed more than 272lbs as I was pretty sick for a couple of weeks prior to seeing the Doctor, but I will take the initial weigh in during my first visit to him.

So I took the drastic steps that were necessary, I quit drinking, started to see a dietitian, and most importantly I started a daily exercise routine. In eight months I think I have had a total of 6 beers, now that isn’t to say I won’t drink in the right situation (I,e; The Shadowlane party :-)) but I will no longer go out on the weekend for horrific binges. Last weekend in fact I attended a weekend long Rockabilly party and didn’t have so much as a single beer. Anyway, I actually reached this goal last week, but I didn’t want to post just yet as I wanted to give the pics of me spanking Sarah Rocks a good run for their money.

As of today however, I now weigh in at the much better total of 222lbs, down by the initial goal that I set for myself to lose 50lbs within a year. So here I am 50lbs lighter than I was last year and four months ahead of my targeted schedule.

While my initial goal was to lose 50lbs within a year, early on in the challenge I reevaluated what I sought for myself. There is still a lot of weight to lose no matter how well I feel about myself right now, and I have now changed my outlook and have set a new target of 97lbs total weight loss. The reason for the number is the Englishman in me as that will bring me down to 12st 7lbs 🙂 So right now I have another 41lbs to lose. It isn’t a sprint so there is no time limit set, what I try to do right now is lose 1lb a week and so far I have been successful in that. So by the time I get to Shadowlane, if all goes well, my actual total loss should be 56lbs by then!! I will probably celebrate at the Shadowlane party, and my hope is that something resembling the girl in the pic below will be waiting for me upon arrival 😉

It’s a good feeling and if I can give any encouragement to anyone I will be happy to do so. Losing weight isn’t an easy thing, it starts in your mind. There have been days when I have lost the plot, but because I am mentally strong right now I am able to pick up where I left off. It isn’t about just losing weight, it is about changing the way one lives, and I am a much happier man right now. Right, I have some serious spam to take care of on my other sites 🙂

  3. No booze, wimpy food, exercise mandate – Ugh. But at least you have pretty bottoms to spank. Life is good for you. Keep up the good work in all areas.

  4. Thank you all so much guys!! It is a good start but I have a long way to go. Hopefully a year from now I will reach the overall target that I set 🙂

  6. High 5’s from lil’ ol’ me = ) Awesome work. It really is work and you are so very right about it beginning in your mind. You might want to be careful about over exercising your spanking arm. I say this purely out of concern for your well being…tee hee.
