I’m in a bit of a quandary here and I’m not sure what to do. When I started this blog it really was, and continues to be, a place where I could share my thoughts, stories, audios, favorite pics, etc, etc. From time to time you will see me add vintage pictures and mainstream videos, as well as the occasional vanilla post. Not only do I like to share items like this, but to be really honest it is always good ‘Filler’ material when I don’t have so much to write about…………..
Here is the problem that I have though, and I’m not too sure how to proceed. In my vast picture collection I have somewhere in the region of a thousand to fifteen hundred vintage spanking pics. Now some of these are downright horrid, lol, and would never see the light of day on this particular blog………..
But, on the other hand, I have some absolute gems like the picture set that you are currently viewing. Not only that but I also have perhaps in the region, and I kid you not, anywhere between thirty to fifty thousand vintage pics featuring softcore material of years gone by………
A lot of this material can actually be broken down into different sections that actually have a ‘spanky’ feel to them. Sets such as the picture right at the bottom “Ladies with whips”, also sets of ladies sat in straight backed chairs in lingerie, vintage panties, outdoors etc, the list could be quite endless…………………
This is the problem though. While I enjoy sharing my favorite vintage pictures on this blog, and I will continue to do that, I also have hundred’s of vintage spanking pics. To be really frank and honest with you, most of those pictures are not good enough to share on this blog. I am very particular about what I share on this blog and it has to meet a certain standard………………
The downside to all of that is what *I* determine to be a good quality shot is going to prevent people from seeing thousands of other pictures that I have in my collection. So this is what I am considering. Right now I have a thought in my head that I am going to start another website where I start to share the vast collection of vintage pics that I have. In fact I may not even use a blog, I might just go ahead and purchase a domain to do this………….
So the purpose of this post is this. Would you guys be interested should I decide to start another website? Not everything will be spanking related, but of course you all know me anyway, and even the non spanking pics are going to have an element of spanking fantasy attached to them!! The other slight problem that I have is that there is already a blog out there called www.vintagespank.com and as vast as my collection is, I wouldn’t really want to steal someone else’s thunder. On the positive side though, the blogs who never credit the source of their pics will have yet another place to select their latest amazing finds from 😉 (Okay, that was a slight bitch towards certain elements who don’t show the proper blogging etiquette and give their fellow bloggers some credit when they nick their stuff)
So do any of you have any opinions about all of this? Thousands of lonely pictures are depending on your decisions 🙂

P.S. I also realize that a lot of you are going to assume that I incorrectly spelt ‘Dilemna’!! I can assure you that I didn’t. You will probably find most people over the age of Forty were taught to spell ‘Dilemna’ the way that I spell it. At some point in the 80’s it is my guess that the powers that be decided to ‘dumb’ the word down. Maybe by dumbing it down some school authorities were able to get a higher overall average classroom score 😉

I would LOVE to see you open that site..! 🙂 Like you I collected many vintage photos over the years.
I could even say that I like the “Old” ones better as they seem to depict spankings in a more realistic way as modern ones.
In the past they surely had fun with spankings (or they were meant as real discipline) when nowadays the focus is more on sexual gratification. One needs to SEE that the spanking is WANTED and models turn themselves over the knees of many most WILLINGLY.
I like to see the struggling girls of the past (I’m sure they wanted the spankings too) who were more the CULPRIT.
Betty Page known by all of us giving exactly tha images I’m talking about. But I’m sure Irving Klaw photographed many more models over the knee and I would love to see more of those. I know most of his collection was burned, but still… Some were saved and I certainly don’t have them all…
So YES, Please go ahead and show your collection..! 🙂

Just because you don’t like a particular image doesn’t mean that a hundred others won’t love it.
I think it’s a great idea unless you wanted to start a “daily pic” thing on this blog, which would last many years apparently, lol.

Thanks for your comments guys. I think I am indeed going to start a vintage website. Now while it won’t be only spanking in the strictest sense, most of the material will be connected to spanking. Maybe once a week I will post like 20 related spanking pics, and the rest of the time I will post pics from the vast collection of softcore models from a bye gone era.
It might take a while to put this together and sort out the 10’s of thousands of pics, but I hope to at least start real soon.

Good luck on your project Richard. I myself would certainly like to see these pictures you mention. I do some photography myself and have an interest in the artistic side of it, but I also recognize that photos of little or no artistic merit can still be valuable from a “cultural studies” perspective.
And in fact, there’s a whole subculture of photography that cultivates the “snapshot” ethos. Sort of like the Dogme95 school of film making (Lars von Trier and friends).
So let’s see what you’ve collected. They must have been of some value or you wouldn’t have bothered collecting them.

Sure there may be another site with the same general idea, but so what? There were other Spanking blogs out there, too, but that deter you from starting this one! (And it’s one of the better ones, too, if I may say so….)

I think another site would be great – I love vintage photos, too (of all sorts). And you’re right about the spelling of dilemna, I’ve always wondered when it changed and I guess I just went with the flow on that one.
