So while 3 years worth of pictures have been lost, the blog itself is still active, even though it is skeleton bare. I may salvage something from this after all}}

This could be a word of warning to you all, and it is something that I foresaw a few years ago. Last night I received a message from Google telling me the old spanking galleries blog had been deleted for a violation of the terms of service. No big deal really as I had already moved the site to my hosting company months ago.
Or was it a big deal though? Unfortunately, it was!!
Last week I considered transferring my spanking pics site over to my own host, but, based on the ridiculous hits it was getting from google I decided against it, being that it was up for 4 years already. That might be a mistake in the long run because when I logged in last night to do the transfer, based on the fact that they had deleted yet another blog of mine, guess what, my google account has been deleted as well!! Trust me, that is the worst thing of all because not only were my blogs hosted through that one account, but 4 years worth of statistics on ALL sites were also under that account.
The spanking pics site was updated in advance to run through the end of the month, so I figured I might have some time to sort the problem out, but when I went to the site today I can see a disaster happening. Nearly all of the pics in the archive have been deleted 🙂 4 years worth of work down the toilet!! I have sent an email to Google but I don’t expect any success, though I would be happy if they let me transfer the site to my own hosting company. The worst part is the stats though, that account tracked all of my sites and has done for 4 years.
A few years ago I predicted this would happen on google/blogger which is why I decided to buy my own domain for my own site, I’m really happy I did that now. Though, I have also noticed that my own sites have been reported to McAfee and I have a yellow warning tab tagged to my sites. A more skeptical man might think that someone is out to get him 😉
The bottom line is, I have to accept that I am probably not going to get these sites back, nor am I likely to get my google account back so I would have lost 4 years worth of statistics. If I am unable to get the site back I will try and have the skeleton of it removed, and as the spanking universe site has run stagnant, I will turn the spanking universe into the new spanking pics site.
It could also be karma because I had considered writing a post today about ‘Accepting responsibility for ones own actions in the spanking community, and the problems it causes when one doesn’t accept responsibility for their own actions’. But, as you can see, maybe the karma gods gave me something else to deal with to keep me from running my mouth 🙂
Be very careful with your own blogger sites guys, all of mine have been destroyed. Just last week I got the first notice that my original site, the blogger one I had before this site, had been deleted, even though I hadn’t used it for nearly 3 years. Then yesterday I had another site deleted and my gmail account erased. It can happen, and hopefully google will tell me why if they answer my query.

Google should at least give you some sort of explanation, or let you retrieve your archives to transfer them. They owe you that much. This is just ridiculous.
So odd when Google Blogger has an adult only section which they set up. I’m on Blogger (Strangelove) and thusfar have had no issues. I’ve got a Google account but, keep it seperated from my adult only content. Who are these adults to tell us what we can and cannot have on our blogs and sites? If it is adult restricted, then anything should be allowed. We are not hurting anyone with anything nor are the vast majority of us using children or any content which would be questionable in that sense. I loathe adults censoring adults. I hope you can get all your stuff back Richard. Take care. Encouraging smiles to you!
This is very disturbing Richard. I already have back-up for my site & will most likely move my ‘Adult’ material including email to an alternative to Google affiliates.

All may not be lost Richard. If you haven’t done any major defrag on your system, those pics and all other information related to that account are still locked in your computer and can still be retrieved. You might try asking John or I think his name is Kevin on Fetlife as they may know how to do retrievals.
Don’t let the bastards get you down is my motto. I am thankful that while all of the posts have been deleted, I do still have all the pics. Now I seriously doubt if I will search to repost them all on their relevant posts, I’m better off deleting the 30 months of missing posts and starting over again. Thanks for your wishes guys, but we will be back 🙂
I’ve seen exactly the same thing happen to a blogger site from a close person. No warning given, just deleted. Never responded to any emails either.
It’s bitter, but just start it again at your own host!

Wouldn’t cha know, just came in on part 4 of the “Two Naughty Nieces” and really hoped to view the rest.
I can certainly relate to what DDON called ’em. I’d remind you of that old British “stiff upper lip” but it already sounds like that is no longer needed here. I look forward to seeing what you salvage and reconstruct from this SNAFU.
That’s awful, Richard. I’m very sorry to hear that Big Brother has struck again.
When you consider that Blogger backup and restore doesn’t work, it’s very scary indeed!

For lack of more eloquent words – that really sucks.
I don’t get it though, are there not loads of spanking blogs out there on blogger? all behind a warning notice of adult material?
What is your recommendation to a new blogger than? Just host a on a paid domain server? Do they all allow “adult content” or is there a company you recommend.

I’ve been hearing more and more of this recently from Google accounts and blogger accounts being deleted without warning! F*ck em!
I only use a gmail account but am seriously thinking of using something else for my mails as well!
