**12/29/09 Update** So I fucked it all up đŸ™‚ Thankfully I saved all of the websites, but I have to reinstall wordpress and then the horrific program before I can add the sites again. Hopefully I can ensure that it stays on page 6 đŸ™‚ It should be back in an hour.
**115 sites added so far!! This is going to take me longer than I thought, only about 5% of sites have a feed so I am spending most of the time trying to find one. Now what will help me out is if everyone will just update their link to the one listed below. Otherwise I am also going to have to mail 150 webmasters trying to get them to update their links. I have so much work to do so any help would be much appreciated. I have to stop for a little while because I really need to make dinner :-)**

Okay, so here is the deal. At the moment I only have the foundation set, but throughout this evening I am going to spend hours adding each and every website that had linked in before. As you will see, the site is still in its infancy and I have a lot of work to do arranging the format so that it is pleasing to the eye (That may take a while). What I would like to ask though is that everyone who wants to link in to please update your bookmarks. The new link address for the Spanking Universe update page is, and it is slightly different to the homepage…….

I will eventually have the homepage redirected to there anyway, but I would appreciate everyone updating their bookmarks to the new page above. To start with I am going to add all of the blogs that linked in originally, emailing everyone with the new link, and then after I will reach out to those who, for whatever reason, chose not to link back to the original site.
I am totally pumped by this and while it may not have the correct appearance to start with, the Spanking Universe is at least functional. This is the disclaimer that I received from the program I am using though, and what it basically means is that until blogs start linking in it isn’t going to update as frequently. I can update each one manually every day, but I can’t repeatedly update 115 times so start linking in guys.
The number of feeds you will be able to carry will depend on the volume of traffic to your site, and the polling frequency. Typically each hit to your site will update one feed. The more visitors per hour, and the wider the polling interval, the more feeds you will be able to carry.

one small suggestion, for after you get things settled in. The layout is a little confusing, the way the blank space is inserted, so that it looks as if the name of the blog and the title of the entry refer to the quote above rather than the quote below. Otherwise, it’s great you’re putting in a teaser. LoveBoudoir links to me also, and I often go over to other sites they lsit after reading the first section.
Thanks again ad again for SU and for all the work you’re putting into it. Just don’t stay up all night on our behalf!

Yep, there are certainly some bugs to work out!! For one I want to allow the website icons to appear beside each post, secondly I want the font of each website enlarged, and I am sure there will be a lot more to come as time comes on. However, after spending 6 hours building the website I am toast, so I will get back to it tomorrow đŸ™‚
Great work, Richard. And so fast! I have added the new link to SU.
I know this is just the beginning, but if I may make a suggestion, it would be a little easier to read if there was a space between where one blog entry ends and the next one begins.

Feedback is always good, Hermione. Yes, I agree with you that a space would be beneficial. As you will see, this morning I made the website link into a bold font to go along with the page link. Here is where the problem is going to lie though đŸ™‚ Because this program is designed as a sidebar program, it has no built in cheats for the main body of a website. Of course you are allowed to put it there, as I did, but all they give you in return is a page full of HTML code đŸ™‚
Now I will get there through trial and error, all it is, is a matter of finding where to stick the dividing line amongst a 10,000 character code đŸ˜‰ Thanks for your feedback and feel free to keep it coming. Suggestions are good, promises are limited đŸ˜‰
No looking back now Jean, we are full steam ahead!! My next step is to email 115 people to start with to get them to link back, and then send yet another email to the bloggers who blew me off first time around.

Welcome back. I’m sure I speak for every spank blogger when I say just how much we appreciate all your hardwork and efforts in advancing the cause of kinky blogging everywhere. What happened to the original SU should also be a wake up call for those of us, me included, who use Blogger to host our blogs. I’m currently in the process of saving all my postings in txt form and looking at other free adult blog hosts to set up some sort of backup for my story archives.
