Could this be true? Is Richard Windsor thinking about returning to Twitter after a nearly five-year break? To be honest with you, I am. However, I would have to put a disclaimer up; my motive for doing so would be a professional one.
Years ago, I deleted all of my social media profiles. Certainly the accounts that were related to spanking anyway. Then a few months ago I also quit Facebook. My initial reason for doing this was a simple one: I was done with the hatred.
My mental health at the time was paramount. I had lost every member of my family, with the last three members all passing within a nine-year span, one after the other. I’ve always considered myself to be mentally strong, but man, did losing my family hit me hard, and probably still does.
It isn’t solely about spanking, but life in general. I’m done with how the world has become a toxic environment to be a part of. I no longer watch the news, and I only ever visit the BBC, mostly for the sport.
Prose continues under today’s spanking image.
Because I am a legal immigrant in The United States, I have to confess that I do have to keep searching for news on that front. It has already been shown that it doesn’t matter if you have legal residency or not with the current administration, and my Green Card is up for renewal in 15 months. It is safe to say that I am very nervous about it, even if there is no reason to be nervous. If I retire next year as I plan to, that should give me some inclination toward any problems that I might encounter.
Trust me, I am way happier having deleted/left all of my social media platforms. There were drawbacks, of course, but the pros far outweighed the cons. With retirement looming, though, I have to look to the future.
As you are all abundantly clear by now, the books that I am writing are providing a nice little earner on the side. In fact, it is the book royalties that would allow me to retire next year. There is a catch, though.
While it is my understanding that spanking eBooks are not as profitable as they once were, I think that I have joined the bandwagon at the right time. The goal is to get established, and my sales show me that I have achieved that. Why is it important to get established at this point?
The answer is very easy. It is because of the advent of AI.
Whenever I write a book, it generally takes me about an hour per 1,000 words. That isn’t just writing. It also includes proofreading and editing, plus configuring the manuscript for publication. So if I write a 27,000-word eBook, like my latest one, that is 27 hours of man-time devoted to the process. That is a lot of hours to spend your free time on.
AI, however, is beginning to take over the writing process. “Authors” on Amazon can spank out upwards of three novels a day and not lift a finger in terms of preparation. They can put prompts into an AI machine and let it do all the work.
That is why it was important to build upon my own name before the writing of eBooks becomes saturated by AI. It isn’t too late; you can still get ahead of the curve right now, but trust me, selling eBooks will be harder in the future if you don’t get your foot in the door now.
This is why I am considering a return to Twitter/X.
My goal there would be simple. Follow other authors, maybe a bunch of spanking producers, but leave the drama alone. My finger will unequivocally be hovering over the ‘block’ button, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. I’m not foreseeing engaging on there other than on my own posts and perhaps the posts of fellow writers. My ‘follows’ list is likely to be very small.
I haven’t fully decided yet because I am in no rush, but X could be a really good opportunity to promote the next chapter of my spanking life. The old me retired from the spanking community, but the new me has a brand new direction in which to walk.
If worse comes to worst, I can just delete it if it starts to affect my mental health again.

Richard,
First off , thanks for another wonderful pic. Next, I never even gave thpeople who live hereought to your legal status here, mostly because you are white, but I see the maga scythe is cutting deeper and deeper into the huddled masses we once claimed to allow! Now, I know you are not here seeking political or economic asylum from your lovely native lands, but you should be welcome to stay regardless, if you like living here. My hopes and dreams for you and other new-found Americans, and by this I mean people who now live here, don’t seem to be on the maga agenda. I will keep you in my prayers on that front, as I can see no other power out there that can clean up this mess. My best. If you need a character reference, I am quite the character, or so I am told! lol!
Jim,
This may surprise you a little, but the only fear that I have stems from my open spanking lifestyle. The government has this ‘Moral turpitude’ clause for deportations, so they can pretty much apply that anyway that they wish. As much as I want to go to South Korea for a visit, I’m afraid to leave the country right now for fear of not being allowed back in. I do agree with you that there are two areas in my personal favor. I’m white, as you so rightly noted, and I’m English. The man in charge loves England so that would work in my favor as well. My demographic is not the one being targeted if everyone is being honest.
If I had to go back to England I wouldn’t know where to start. I wouldn’t qualify for any benefits because I have worked there since the 1980s, and I’m not getting any younger. I’m picturing myself like Brooks in The Shawshank Redemption, lol. America has been my home pretty much since 1988.

As my ” brother from another mother ” put so well if you need a character reference I am known as a character as well lol. I do hope you have been here long enough to stay. I love how clear the picture you posted was. I loved the expressions and how she is positioned. Great find as one that does buy most of your ebooks I hope that you will find what you are looking for. I have never had a social media presence as I looked at it that I did not want my employers to have any reason to check on me(besides I had to keep it private from my family too) thanks again for all you share and have a great day.
Jim
Jim,
For many years I had a social media presence, and as soon as I stopped I pretty much lost contact with everyone. There are only a couple of spankos on my vanilla Facebook, but I don’t even go to Facebook anymore, lol. It was long ago that I decided that I didn’t care if people knew what I did, and now that all of my family is gone and I am self-employed, I don’t have much to worry about on that front anymore. All of my friends totally accept what I do, both male and female, and a couple of the ladies even engaged in something very playful. In fact I remember one such classic where a friend from Asia was talking to me about it and his girlfriend joined us. He then started swatting her saying that she likes spanking as well. What I found particularly funny was that I had known her for far longer than I had known him, and she had the looks of a model.
