My resolution this year is to try and resume a regular schedule of posting. How long do you think it will be before I break that resolution? đŸ™‚
It was quite a devastating ending to 2024 when I saw a condolence message online. As I have been out of spanking social media for so long now, I was completely unaware of what has been happening. I’m never one to read something and then take it at face value initially, I always want to confirm what I have read first.
So I searched around a bit and it appears to be true, my favorite spanking model is no longer with us. What a sad way to end the year, even though I assume that most of you had already heard the news a couple of months earlier. I’ve been a fan of Samantha’s videos for 20 years now and I have written about her many times on this blog. Such dreadfully sad news, she was so important to my own personal development in the spanking scene, even though I never met her personally. When I watched her videos I was always like “Yes, that is what spanking means to me”. May she rest peacefully.
It is hard to post an image after such sad news, so I will just share a cartoon to begin the New Year. This drawing showcase Cesar Romero spanking Fanny Brice, assumingly as Snooks. Click on the image for the full sized version.

Richard,
As always, thanks for the wonderful pic, and Happy New Year. As to when you break your resolution, I say who cares. You’ll do what you can when you can, and it will be more than we deserve.
Now, as to the news that I am sadly not aware of. Is this Samantha W.? That would be so so so sad! Sometimes I really hate real life! When we lose someone, but someone we never really knew at all, it just seems unreal and unfair and there is a finality to it that is like a punch in the gut. I think that is why I spend most of my waking hours in fiction and fantasy. It is so much safer there!
Please, my condolences to the family and loved ones, and to you an obvious heartfelt fan.
Jim
Jim,
It would appear so. A good number of video performers have mentioned this on social media, and from what I can gather people who knew her personally have also said this is the case. The most telling part is that nobody has disputed it. Now this isn’t to say that it is the gospel truth, I’m just responding to what has been posted publicly online on Twitter and other places. It was quite disheartening to read if what has been said is in fact true.
Rich
Rich,
I always thought her a very beautiful woman. I often chided her in the past because she remained so stoic in pictures while suffering pains that would have broken even men of our manly manliness! Lol! But that was in stills. In films she was remarkable, and emoted quite well, I might add, so it was whoever edited her pics that was at fault, not the actress. Now, to hear of her passing is truly sad. If there was a Hall of Fame in our spanko world, she would have been a member years ago and is and forever will be.
You’d be amongst that hallowed group as well, BTW!
I truly hope your intel is mistaken. I’d rather imagine, like her films, that she will always be with us. She brightened up our lives with her eternal brattiness and will-so, online, probably forever!
JIm
Jim,
The messages that I have seen are actually from Shadowlane performers, so I do believe that the information is correct. It is indeed very sad to hear!
Rich
Richard –
That is sad news indeed. I had not heard of anything until you mentioned it here on your blog, although I’m not in the same social media circles as you are. I’m mostly on the spanking blogosphere when I am online (and that has been few and far between in the past couple years). Any idea what happened – an accident or? Not that the cause matters now, but somehow completes things in a way. She had to be only around 40 is my guess. RIP
Best,
Enzo
Enzo,
To be honest I don’t have a social media circle anymore, if I had I would have seen this information two months ago. As for your question, no, I have no idea, nor do I wish to know. From what I can gather I believe you are correct, she was exactly 40 years old.
A friend of mine alerted me to a discussion that was taking place about me, and normally I don’t even bother to read them. In this instance curiosity got the better of me because I didn’t know the person who had started the discussion. So I checked it out and it was much ado about nothing, but I just so happened to see a condolence message left for someone else. Rather than just taking it at face value, I did take a look at other Shadowlane performers and they all said the same thing.
