Windsor Wednesday Classic – 282

There are times when I can be as thick as a plank, lol. As you are aware by now, I am deep into writing my 6th book. The word count is currently at 16,000 words and I intend to get it to 25,000 by next week. This morning, however, I was reviewing one of the short stories and I noticed an error. The story is set in 1985, yet, somehow, the guy in the story pulls out a cell phone towards the end of the tale πŸ™‚

So this morning I had to rework that section of the story and lose 250 words. The story I am currently on has taken on a life of its own. My initial plan had been to make it a 4,000 – 5,000 word story, but I am 3,300 words in and I haven’t even gotten to any spanking yet. This story is probably going to end up being 10,000 words or so.

The theme of the new book is going to be about spankings in England, and I am even including my hometown and the county that I grew up in as part of the stories.

Now, as for the two ladies in the pictures below. They are in an amphitheater somewhere, but lord knows where this 1940s outdoor building is. The pictures are huge so be sure to click on each one for the full-sized version.

  1. Rich,

The background and location of your newest story is a great move. Writing what one knows and lived will write well. Looking forward to it!

As to the two pics, love them both. Again, true gems! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Jim,

Thanks! The final story has taken on a life of its own, it is 10,000 words already and there is still a chapter to write, so I am well on course for releasing it in the time-frame I had set.

    Rich
