Windsor Wednesday Classic – 254

Eight years ago I made a purchase on Ebay that I shared with you RIGHT HERE. The image is a negative that I still have in my possession. The problem that I had was that the image came with hardly any details at all, so I took a guess that it was a photo from the play Men Are Like Streetcars.

Well thanks to my subscriptions to a newspaper archive I can safely say now that I made a mistake. This image is actually from the play Springtime for Patsy.

How do I know this? Well after eight years I actually found a different image from this same scene in a newspaper and the details stated which play it actually was.

Now I will have to rifle through my collection to see what other spanking pics that I have from Springtime For Patsy. I have at least 4 more in one folder but I am sure that I have others on an external drive.

My recent drive on the newspaper archive landed me dozens of new pics, but I also looked at my newspaper clippings folder and saw that I have downloads going all the way back to 2012 that I have never shared. I really need to pull my finger out, lol. I’m still finding new pictures daily that I throw in folders and forget about for years.

Adding to this I am also very tempted to join a British newspaper archive to see what I can find there. The archive isn’t as big as the USA based ones, but the price is comparative. Being British myself I am sure that I can come up with some search terms that are rarely used. The only problem that I have is that they don’t carry my Hometown newspaper, for if they did it would have been an easy decision to part with my money.

The above images will be added to my VARIOUS SCHOOL PLAYS folder.

  1. Thanks a lot Rich, you are a star! Because her shocked expression is the only genuine one, I assume he’d just landed a good one!
