Streetcar Sundays – 86

My trip to the UK is now planned,  I arrive on the 26th and will return to the USA on July 2nd. My itinerary is as tight as a gnat’s chuff,  on the 27th I have to meet with the police for my Brother’s belongings,  plus close his bank officially and his housing. The funeral is the 28th in which I am going to try really hard to read a eulogy for my brother,  I’m not sure if I will be able to do it,  but I’m going to try. That will leave me two days after the funeral to try and do something with my brother’s belongings. This will be my last shot to get family photographs,  whatever my brother had will be the remaining piece of our family history. I’m really hoping that he has our parents wedding album.

Everything else I have to give away,  I can’t really bring anything back to America with me. He might well have my record collection which will suck to give away,  but,  I have to be practical about this. There’s going to be so much to do in those two days,  all with a heavy heart. I guess I can buy a suitcase while I am there and stuff whatever I can in there,  or in fact maybe just take my brother’s suitcase. That’s not something that I am planning on though.

The flight cost was really painful as well. I had saved up $5,000 for a trip to Japan later this year so thankfully I had money put aside. That is pretty much what the funeral is costing with all the added extras,  plus whatever I have to pay for the reception afterwards. Then it came to the flight and hotel and holy snot,  $2,000 for the flight alone!! Thankfully I was able to get a hotel for around $450 for the duration of my stay. It’s going to come to roughly $8,000 all told,  but I budgeted $7,000 for it so it isn’t too far off the mark,  the flight was the killer as I was expecting it to be half of that.

Here is my plan for the next two weeks. I’m going to post two more parts of the interview with Ophelia De Havilland during the next week,  then when I am away I will pre-post some more sections of the interview as well as a photo for Wednesday and Sunday. I’m going to have very limited Internet time while I am in the UK so I will primarily use Twitter. So if you want to keep up with me posting pictures of my hometown then be sure to follow me on Twitter. RICHARD WINDSOR’S TWITTER. I had kind of hoped to get to my old neighborhood for some fun but I don’t think that I will have the chance. It would be nice to just stand in the street and remember where all the spankings happened on that street,  especially the best spanking that I ever saw of a girl I hated. It isn’t something that I have ever written about as it doesn’t go with the flow of this blog,  but if you ever listened to the interviews that I did with Dana Specht then I did tell the story on one of those interviews. Even to this day I smile as I recall hearing the sounds of a spanking,  and then curiously,  without having ANY idea what was happening of course,  walking in the door to see whatever was going on. It was such a treat to see my own personal Nellie Oleson face down over her mom’s knee,  sky blue panties on display,  receiving an onslaught of her mom’s palm. I didn’t get to see much of it before I was told to get out of the room,  but I saw enough and listened to the rest  😀  (Yes,  the concept is included in my latest story,  MOTHER SPANKS DAUGHTER  –  OVERHEARD)

Anyway,  onto the weekly MEN ARE LIKE STREETCARS spanking pic.

In reviewing what I have left in my folder,  this one caught my eye,  only because it leaves the door open for some interpretation. Full disclosure,  the spanking being shown is exactly what you see,  from the play,  as it was written. My interpretive view has nothing to do with the play,  it’s just what I see.

You could be mistaken for thinking that this is an outtake,  the girl looking over her shoulder saying  “Look,  you’ve got to spank me harder than that”. The guy coming in the scene with his hands up saying  “No,  no,  wait,  get up,  let me show you how to spank this brat”. No need for the spanking police,  I know that is not what is happening,  I just like to use my imagination from time to time.
