Yesterday I went on a bit of a search to try and find some old vintage spanking pics and I managed to wade through a bunch of old magazines. On the plus side, I was able to find around 40 or so old pictures to add to either this blog, or over on my new spanking pictures blog.

There is a downside, though, and that was because most of the spanking pictures I found were absolute bunk, lol. Overall I probably found a few hundred, but the majority of those were full, open-spreadie, porn pics posing as spanking pics. Just the fact that I could rescue 40 or so I saw as a success.
This is an example of what I mean. Take the bottom image of the three on this attached page. If you were to present that pic, and that pic alone, it would pass as an absolute classic spanking image. But, for whatever reason, they covered a good segment of the picture by overlaying an image right on top of it. I was a little annoyed because the picture looked like a real gem.
Beggars can’t be choosers though, so we will have to accept what we were given.
The new book is coming along slowly, currently standing at a little over 5,000 words. I’m trying my hardest to write 1,500 words a day. If I can keep that pace up then it should be completed in about ten days time. If I’m lucky I might push closer to 2,000 words a day, which will bring the release forward by a few days.

My goal is still to release a book a month throughout the year, and if I can keep my writing pace up then maybe I can get a couple of extra books released. At the moment I have 4 spanking story books, and by the end of the year I have a goal of 14 books. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that I can make it 15, a much better sounding number 😉

It was probably those 100 pics you passed up that got me writing back in the day.
80’s erotica was uninspired or inspired by porno makers, not real life kinksters like Ed Lee.
Still, I used good money to buy that crap and sought solace by writing better material to match the lousy pictures. I would caption them with paragraph sized short stories to better explain or make the stupid scene more exciting.
The internet came along and I’m still doing the same thing with blog and tumblr pics that are so much better and scream for a backstory. Alas, it is all for my eyes alone.
If you get stuck for a story when writing, peruse your pics, one will jump out at you!

Probably the biggest reason that I passed them up was because of the graphic presentations of genitalia. It is something that I have always avoided on this blog. Besides the fact, of course, that the pictures sucked, lol.I was able to dig up a few dozen though, and I even got a couple of rare ones from normal adult magazines that had a single spanking pic in them. Those are the gems because they would have rarely been seen in the spanking world because they are not from spanking magazines.
You are also correct, many times a single picture has been the inspiration for a spanking story. If not directly, then at least indirectly as it has planted a seed in my head.

Yes,I remember this series and I agree these were the best of the lot. This photographer is also featured on your back up site with the outline one. Great finds.I do like seeing some again,but as you also said beggars can’t be choosers. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.

Yeah, I was recently doing a sweep of old Eros Goldstripe magazines. Most of the spanking pics were complete gash, but I was able to come up with a couple of dozen decent ones.
