Before I get into the meat and bones of today’s post, here is a picture for you if you are only here for the images. Underneath I will tell you of my plans of trying out a spanking Ebook.
So what is this Ebook nonsense that I am banging on about?
A thought came to me to try and get myself back into writing spanking stories. Stories are by far the most popular feature on my website but I have lost my spark when it comes to them.
A lot of this comes down to a variety of reasons, the main one being that my interest in spanking isn’t what it once was. There are also factors like engagement. While the stories are heavily read, it is rare to get any feedback, and a lot of times when I do get feedback it is “Hurry up with the next one” lol.
So I just ordered a book that a friend of mine wrote (a vanilla book) and it got me to thinking, maybe publishing an Ebook would be the start that I need to get back to writing stories.
Many of you would have read my “Mother Spanks” series.
What I was thinking is this. I grabbed all three chapters of the Mother Spanks series and stuck them into a word document, and I was able to see that the grand total is 14,000 words already. On a Kindle Ebook that would be roughly 50 pages.
So my goal there would be to flesh the initial chapters out and make them about 20,000 words in total, and then write the ending of the story with a few more chapters. The end goal would be a book that contains roughly 35,000 words or 125 pages, give or take.
In layman terms it would basically mean writing parts 4, 5 and 6 at about 5,000 words each. Then I would stick it up on Amazon for free on Kindle Unlimited, and maybe charge $2.99 for the full download, just in case there was anyone who wanted to support me in my efforts.
The good part is, if this does indeed get me back into the writing spirit, it will mean good things for the blog. I’ll be posting more, the excitement will be back, and for you lot that will mean a ton more pictures and original thoughts đŸ™‚

The project is a little ways off, but at least half of it is done yet. Of course in a professional sense my stories are woeful when it comes to diction and grammar, but I can get away with that on a spanking blog. đŸ˜‰

Rich, I understand. I have been writing for some 20 plus years. As I write straight from my head with no guide, no list of names, no skeleton plot, etc, my work kind of drains from my brain. I call my writing Brain Drains, others would call it lazy, many more poor writing!
C. Lakewood used to edit my stuff, he was a college professor, he has sadly since passed, and I drove him crazy. He’d send me back edited works and I couldn’t figure out what I had even written. I got my pride hurt and wrote him one day why He didn’t like my work and he honestly replied that I gave him no reason to care for the protagonist, or for the heroine or hero of my work. I gave no development to my characters.
That little bit of criticism hurt, a lot! But, it hurt because he was right! I’m still probably only going to earn a C at best in his class had he still been with us. That drives me to
Keep writing. My brain drains are just practices in developing plot, and character, like small sketches of what I really want to paint with my pen Some Day, a full book. Right now, I’m a poor man’s O’Henry. Only problem is, I’m not getting younger and my stories aren’t getting better. Perhaps an anthology? lol!
You’ve done the hard work. You’ve got your story and it’s enjoyable. The rest is just planning, structure and re-writes. You’ll get there!

You know what, your words of wisdom have just helped me!! One of the things that I want to do with the story is ‘flesh out’ the main frame of the story, and what you have just written has helped me realize that I need to pay more attention to the characters and not necessarily the spankings. Being that I write stories for a spanking blog, the spanking part practically writes itself, lol. What I need to do is focus more on the characters.
Many years ago I submitted a story to a spanking story site, and in my email before the story was added to the site I received an email critiquing my work. I’m sure the intent was honorable, but I found it pretty humiliating to be lectured in such a way to be honest with you. The critique seemed to be longer than my story was, lol, and it was as if they were an English teacher giving me an F grade on my paper. After that I never submitted another story to that site, and still haven’t to this day. Though I did contribute one story for their anthologies that they sell to keep their site up and running.
This is of course long before the days of AI and Grammarly etc. Nowadays, assuming you can find a site that accepts erotica, you can feed your story into the site and have it reviewed. On my Youtube channel I do it all the time. Over there I always write my scripts from the top of my head, in my own words so to speak, and I then feed it into AI to edit any grammatical or structural errors I may have written. The end result normally means a 1,500 word story will be parsed down to about a thousand words once they have eliminated my unnecessary waffling đŸ™‚
In fact, if the truth be known I actually found a little trick that really helps me. What I do is write historical narrations, and I then feed it into AI and ask it to rewrite my writings and present it as if I was telling a story. The result is normally ten times better than my boring, fact driven prose.

I think it’s a great idea, and you’ll probably also increase traffic to the site. The only issue some might have is the fact of obtaining of such material on their Amazon permanent record, but that ship sailed long ago.
For the record, I’d love to see more of the “3 Girls” type of stories.

Here’s the thing though, the Amazon Ebook will serve one of two purposes. One of which is to tap into the reading market that is unaware of my website, and secondly, it will be for website readers who want to support me in my efforts. The Mother Spanks series is by far and away the most popular set of stories on my site, along with the story ‘The fly on the wall’. So most people would have read the stories that I am planning for my first book anyway. The chapters in the book version will be longer, but most readers of this blog just want the meat and bones anyway, lol. I will add parts 4 and 5 to the story, perhaps even a sixth part. But here’s the thing, I will put the book on Kindle unlimited, plus a token $2.99 download version, and then once the initial rush is over in the first few months, the rest of the story will be posted on my blog for free anyway đŸ™‚
The “3 Girls” series is another one that would be in the works for expanding and writing new chapters. At a guess the first two parts are probably at 10,000 words already, so if the first book do reasonably well, then the second book wouldn’t be far behind. A third book could be made from all of the standalone stories I have written, perhaps even a 4th to be honest.
