After a five year slog I finally gave up on Youtube. If you are wondering why, it is pretty simple really. On Youtube I was originally putting out a new video every week, scaling back to every other week for the past year. For five years solid, and what was I getting from it? Roughly $20 a month, lol.
So I took to writing books instead with my free time. In the first 50 days of writing eBooks, I have made more money during that time than I would make in an entire year on Youtube. It is simple economics.
The next book is right around the corner. In the last three days I was able to put a lot of effort in and the book currently stands at 18,200 words. There are still two chapters to write, so we are likely looking at roughly 23,000 words by the time I am done, or maybe even 24,000 words. I’m hoping for it all to be finished by Tuesday.
The final chapter is going to be fun to write, though I will be honest I have enjoyed writing the entire book so far. Albeit slowly. In the final chapter of the book it will involve an initiation spanking for four young women, all on the bare bottom as well. The fun part is going to be adding in some quirky little details for the initiation ceremony.
Here is the likely book cover for my upcoming book next week.

Rich,
Sorry about YouTube. I know you really worked hard on those videos and stories, but really looking forward to your next book!
And, loved this gem very much. Thanks!
Jim
Jim,
At least I feel like I left something behind. For years to come people will have some local videos to enjoy. It just doesn’t pay any longer to spend so much time making videos.

I will miss your walks around NYC, but I understand that the economics of YouTube only works for those who have viewerships in the hundreds of thousands minimum. Which you deserved! but is hard to attain. Glad all is going well with the book publishing.
Midwest Reader,
I appreciate that, but I also have to be realistic. There was only minimal growth after 5 years, so the channel is likely not to grow much in the next five years either. I’m already about to turn 62 đŸ™‚

My letter doesn’t come up, this has happened before, weird
Mick,
I’m guessing based on your comment that you added a comment and it disappeared? Unfortunately it is common now that there is that security page that my host installed on the site. Many times people can’t submit their comments because the security check times out, so the best way to leave a comment is to type it off of the site. Or, copy it once you are finished, just in case it doesn’t go through. As you have left comments before, you are automatically approved to post comments, so if your comment doesn’t appear immediately, simply paste what you have copied and submit it again.
Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it, my host company forced this change to eliminate the spam comments.
