It was with great sadness that I was informed today that my younger Brother had passed away at the ever so young age of 41.

Due to some emergency paperwork that I need to acquire, and a probable trip to Swindon, England next week, I am going to have to cease posting to all blogs until I return from England. As the funeral won’t be until next week I will still be attending the wedding of my friends, ZED and Ginger, this upcoming weekend. Assuming that I can get the emergency travel documents that I need due to an expired passport, I will be gone until next weekend.

My time online will be very limited for the near future, so I very much doubt that I will be able to respond to any messages or emails that I may get during the next week or so. When I return this website should have passed the 2 Million hits mark, and of course I will still have lots to say regarding my visit on set this past weekend. It is unfortunate though that I have had to postpone the two upcoming interviews that I had scheduled until I return.

Browse the 2 years worth of archives for now (starting with the post below this one :-)) and I will be back with you all sometime next week.

  3. Very sad to hear that, Richard. My condolences.

    I was lately confronted with the death of a friend at the young age of 31. It’s even (and probably much) worse with a close family member.

  13. My deepest sympathies, Rich. I too lost an immediate family member in early December, and I have a fair idea of what you must be going through. Take all the time you need, mate, and we’ll be here to welcome you when you return.

  17. I’m very sorry, Richard. I lost my sister many years ago. No one knows what another person’s sense of loss is, so I wont pretend to know what you are feeling, but I can tell you absolutely that the good memories outlive the pain.

    Unsolicited advice and then I’ll shut up: I’ve found that random acts of kindness to a stranger is a good way to take a break from my own pain.
