This was an Ebay find from a while back but unfortunately it didn’t come with any information. Clearly it falls within the realm of PLAYFUL SPANKINGS so I will add it to that folder. Normally I am pretty good at dating photos from the clothing that people are wearing, but this one has me a little stumped. I’m thinking that it is either the late 1940’s or early 1950’s, but going by the hairstyles it could even be the mid 60’s. I’m going to go with late 40’s but if you have an opinion then I would love to hear it.

Tough one, Richard. My first guess would be early 50s, but it’s hard to tell because we have only one girl’s full hairstyle to judge by and none of their shoes or socks. That fan in the window and the window itself are certainly of an older vintage (pre-1960). It might even be that this is a re-creation of an earlier era taken decades later.
The girls certainly seem to having fun. They could have used a paddle since the bending-over position is employed.
