For the first time I am going to cross-post the same image on my blog, and I will also post the image, albeit a slightly different version, over on DEVIANTART as well.
Yesterday I spent over an hour creating this image, and it is a banger. Get your chops around this 1950s spanking scene that I created! I might even use this image as an eBook cover in the near future. Click on the image itself, it is huge.
On DeviantArt I have posted the same picture, but the tone is darker. I can’t really decide which one I like the best, so I posted both versions. The lighter one here, and the darker toned one over there.
How did this come about?
There was the old newspaper clipping that I had that I worked to restore. It was so bad that you couldn’t even see her lower half, and the guy had no right arm. So I set about restoring it by directing Gemini to create what I was looking for. It wasn’t easy, but we ended up with this gem.
Want to know what else I asked Gemini? I asked the program why it found these images acceptable to recreate where other AI programs would reject it. The answer was fairly simple, and it was exactly how I described it in the last blog post.
Gemini told me that I had provided the historical context for the article, and I provided the mainstream publication that the images were found in. In Gemini’s mind, it was simply recreating a mainstream image to present in the modern day and age. Plus, I didn’t use the word ‘spanking’ once. It was generating the article as a whole. Gemini then added words like pinup, cheesecake, saucy, cheeky etc. to describe what it found acceptable to recreate.
Initially the woman was holding a small dog, which was easy to have erased, but the guy’s spanking hand was a clenched fist. You won’t believe how long it took me to open up that palm, lol. There was also the problem of trying to describe her lower half without ‘giving the game away.’ It took ages, but once I said that the black mass below the guys shirt was her lower half, and that her legs were stretched out, fading out of the image on the left-hand side, it grasped what I was looking for.
So what do you reckon? Not bad, huh?
The reason I am cross-posting this is pretty simple. DeviantArt provides thousands more views, and likewise, I get more feedback and interaction over there.
I just saw it over at Deviant Art and I was going to say the opposite it looks like this is darker to me. Although I really enjoy both of them. This one the girl seems a little better. I really appreciate the effort and time put into this one. I would put it up for an award myself for best restoration. I really love the costumes,the outfits and the bottom. Very well done and double thanks for this one as the effort and in both places at the same time outstanding. Have a great day.

In the traditional sense, it isn’t an exact restoration. Because the original was so dark, I told Gemini that the guys right arm was raised in the air, even though we couldn’t see it. That was actually a fib, his arm wasn’t in the air at all, lol. A really tough part was describing her lower body because I couldn’t use the word ‘spanking.’ Once I finally cleared that hurdle, I already knew that we had a blinder on our hands. There was a lot more tinkering to go, but the concept was really exciting. I’ve even created a new folder for realistic restorations. It only has three images in it so far, but that’s not bad for one day. Those restorations will be exclusive to the blog because they are realistic images, as opposed to artistic ones.

I am on a tear at the moment. So far today I have made about a dozen new images, albeit many of those were restored and not re-imagined. I even created a new email address so that I can fudge around on Gemini and perhaps try and get riskier. 😉

You should have seen my face when the first generation popped up. It had a lot of work that it needed done, but I knew that we had a winner right off of the bat. Other than the woman’s hand, the other edit I didn’t want to make was the bottle next to his right foot. It shouldn’t be there, but it is so close to his argyle sock that I feared ruining the whole picture by trying to remove it.

It is all about learning the code, and tricking it when all else fails, lol. Yesterday it couldn’t add the spanking arm of the male, so I downloaded the image as was. Then I drew the arm myself in paint, then tried again, and it worked. The best part of all is asking Gemini “Please display the code you used.” I have learnt a lot from it.

I have found a new artist at deviant art called Discliparian UK. He has updated a pic that you have posted that has been colorized, but I have seen it at other sites also and to be honest I did check and I do not see the pic in either your main site or deviant art so I really don’t think he copied it from you,but I think you might want to check out his work.

He has already shared some of his creations with me privately, and he has some cracking artwork, really top shelf stuff. Do you have a link to his DeviantArt page? That is all I have. At the moment he just has one picture posted.He is a new artist and he followed me on deviant and it may be that spellchecker added a space and that may be the problem as you know I am agotkl1 at Deviant Art and it is my favorites so you may be able to get it there.

Ah, okay, that helped, I found the profile. The image that was generated has probably been on everyone’s blog over the years, the original is actually one of my favorite spanking images. It is on this blog somewhere, but I can’t even remember the name of the film to try and search for it, lol.
