If a face could tell a story!! Back when I was growing up in England, it seemed that every house in the neighborhood had a clothes brush hanging up on the wall. I dare say that it wasn’t only used for getting rid of lint. The lady right here will attest to its impact.

I went to a Christian Church ( I won’t mention the denomination) for a wedding. At the back wall, inside the Church hung a very similar clothes brush. Thing was I was attracted to it like a fly to, well sugar, and noted the backside of said clothes brush was well worn while the bristle side was untouched.
Now, funny thing was, this church does not allow the children for services. They go to Sunday School during services. So, my mind is asking, who is the brush for, hanging inside the church in plain view for everyone?
I must note, the church does preach wives submitting to their husbands. It was all I could do not to join the church just to find out, but my relative goes there and would know me too well!
After all these years, I still wonder.
