Yesterday an unusual occurrence happened on DeviantArt. Over the last few days I worked on putting together a spanking storyboard image (called a Foto Novella in Latin America) to share on the platform.
I have no idea why, but in terms of interaction, the feedback was sparse. It is quite unusual for that platform because every image generally gets a handful of comments and more often than not a few dozen likes (they are called “favorites” on the site.)
The image below, though, garnered a whopping total of 4 likes. Just 4, that’s it. Click on the image itself for the full-sized version.
It wasn’t through a lack of views either. While the views are on the lower end when compared to other creations, it still has over 6,000 views, so it’s not too shabby at all. My guess can only be that art viewers simply don’t like this style of creation. That is good information to know, but I quite like it myself.

As you can see, I like to try all different kinds of styles, and many times I use my own image for the creations that I make. I know it isn’t for everyone, but I have given for almost 20 years now, so I am taking a bit of indulgence for myself.
Another fun topic that I hear frequently on that site is some constructive criticism. There appears to be a group of people who don’t like a smiling spankee. Those individuals are following the wrong person because I love happy spanking pics.
I like the style,but I really only liked the first panel and her transparent shorts. I also only saw it on a smaller screen as my larger screen is having issues with DA and it looked cramped.I like it better the more I see of it,but it is not a favorite. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.

Maybe if the old lady took the girl across her knee and walloped her, I would go to your deviant site and give it a like.
Plus, M/F isn’t my favorite. It’s too played out.

As you can see from the second pic, my last 14 deviations are all M/F in nature. That is my personal preference obviously; however, maybe I can direct you to the page of my friends, SpankLitStories! Perhaps it would if they produced actual art instead of AI slop. AI has ruined fetish art. Everyone has gotten lazy and just tells a bot what to do and viola, they think they invited the lightbulb. At least photoshop took some actual work and creativity. When the last of the true fetish artists passes, the genre will be dead, as it’s obvious nobody is trying to take their place.

If you are a connoisseur of spanking art I can certainly understand why you would feel that way. As a writer, I painstakingly dedicate myself to my craft and I would never use AI for the stories that I sell; however, there are people out there who can (and do) churn out an entire book in a single day using AI. Not only that, but their “Books” will be 4 times the length of mine, and my self-penned eBooks can take me a month to write. In that time someone using AI can churn out 30 full-length novels to one of my short story compilations.
The same complaints occur when it comes to book cover designers. Many of them have switched to drawing a concept, and then letting AI do the bulk of the work for them, and they still charge the same price. So, for those folks it is economical. They can draw an outline, and then save hours of man time by using AI. Thereby being able to take on significantly more projects.
I don’t disagree with you if you love spanking art, but I will be one of those creators that you don’t like because I love to put my ideas into a tangible form. I can’t draw for squat, so I let a computer generate my ideas. You are correct I think, AI creations will one day replace actual spanking artists. In fact, I would imagine that there are already hundreds of spanking creations per a single spanking cartoon done by an artist, if not more.
