As you are already aware, I am currently working on my 7th spanking eBook. Yesterday was a very productive day where I was able to write 3,200 words to bring the current total to 8,800 words. Obviously my goal today is to bring it past the 10,000 mark, and then, if all goes well, I’m going to target 1,500 words a day for the next week. If I can do that, then I might have the book ready by next Saturday or the following Tuesday. It won’t be the longest book that I have written, but I am still aiming for the 20,000-word completion mark.
This book is a little different from the others, though, because I will need to do a thorough read-through and edit once this book is completed. I’m a little stuck right now that the heroine of the story is so willing to have her bottom smacked that I am struggling with the believability factor. I mean, it is all fantasy and fiction anyway, but I do want to have a tiny sliver of truth to it.
I’m pretty excited by the book. In the original story that I posted here under the title of Jane’s Birthday Spanking, the word count for the story was about 1,700 words. Well, like I said, I’m up to 8,800 words already, and we have reached the exact same point in the story where Jane gets her birthday spanking. So give or take, the story now has a 7,000-word intro, even though the description of the spanking has changed quite a bit as well.
I have some good plans in store for the story, which includes the introduction of a new character, one who is attending the summer camp for her third year and who is quite familiar with the spanking routine of the camp directors.
Yesterday I also changed the book cover of my initial spanking eBook. After reviewing my sales, and this could be a coincidence, the two books that are currently selling the best have a theme in common. They both have simplistic book covers. So I created a new cover for that initial book to make everything look cleaner. To be honest, I really like the new book cover. It is currently the live cover on my author page, but it might take a week or so to populate to every page on Amazon. Not long after I changed the book cover, I got a sale, but again, that could just be a coincidence.

What a great spanking otk with a hairbrush. In a way it reminded me of the KISS AND TELL scene ( another thought was Hitler spanking Eva Braum) . the change in cover does look very good. Yeah, this image isn’t brand new to the spanking world; I have certainly seen it before, but as I just culled some newspaper clippings, I figured it was worth sharing, as I, personally, have not shared it before. In regard to adding personal images, I’ve got to be honest, I’m a little torn on that one. As spanking images themselves, absolutely not. Every personal spanking image that I have shared on this blog was with the express permission of the other person in the spanking picture. Based upon my ethics, that doesn’t give me permission to share them outside of this blog. As I no longer have any connection to anyone in the spanking world anymore, there is nobody I can ask permission from because I am no longer in contact with anyone.
A part of me did consider cartooning the pics to make the person in them indistinguishable, but even then, my ethics and morals are pretty strong. I had a person’s trust put into me to share those pictures on my blog, and I take that very seriously. I know what it is like on a personal level to no longer trust someone based upon their actions, and I would never want someone to have that same feeling about me that I can’t be trusted. It is an old-school way of thinking, I know, but a person’s character is important to me.

To be honest as well, I’m not even sure if I know how to add illustrations to my manuscripts as well. The process of adding books to Amazon, while reasonably easy, it can be pretty finicky at times. I can even begin to tell you how long it took me to upload my first book because of the stupid ‘Table of Contents’ lol, it took me forever and a day to work out a fix.
