Over the last week I have tried really hard to finish the new book, but it looks like I am going to fall a day behind my original schedule of March the 31st.
Ordinarily it would be pretty much finished by now as I always shoot for around 22,000 to 25,000 words. The book currently stands at roughly 23,000 words, but I still have one more chapter to write. On the plus side this will give people more value for their buck so there is a silver lining.
To be perfectly honest, even if I were to complete the book tonight, I still have to fully edit and proof-read it, so it wouldn’t be ready until Wednesday anyway, and I hate releasing books on a Wednesday. So I’m probably going to release the new book on Thursday.
However, if I do complete it by Wednesday as I expect, I can still move on to writing the next book, which I have already begun anyway. So I should be on schedule to get that book completed by the end of April as I have planned.
There is some good news regarding my last book which made me very happy. Despite a slower than average start, that book is now my best selling book, it got picked up well in the algorithm and it even got some good ratings, so I appreciate the people who rated the book, that was very welcome. It bodes well for a second book in The Spanking Neighbor series.

I love this pic on so many levels. Though obviously posed, it means spanking is a real possibility in this household! I take that as a plus! There is always a kernel of truth in all humor! Right?
