If you look closely you will see that the young woman is holding a balloon, plus, there is a wheel in the background where the arrow is pointing to 21. Unfortunately I have had the pic for years and I have no idea where I found it, and I didn’t even label it correctly, so I’m afraid that we are left to our own devices to determine the back story.
On a positive note, though, there is a decent chance that this isn’t the only spanking machine picture out there featuring this device. I guess I need to put my sleuth hat back on.

I’ll join in on that search. Looks like the late 40’s or early 50’s by the suit and dress. Probably an early gameshow, product promotion, or such, or maybe a prom game?

I did a painstaking search on the archived version of my old vintage spanking pics site, and I finally found it posted in June 2013. Unfortunately, though, the writing on that entry says the same as it says here, that I couldn’t remember which university I found it in 🙂
