I’m not going to lie, I was a bit peeved after my Sunday Classic this week. Every week I hunt and scour and search, trying my best to find the rarest spanking pics I can find, and last week was one of those times where I fist pumped when I found the pic that I posted on Sunday. Through my eyes it was a total classic, a really good pic from the play “Act your Age” and how did it reach my audience? Nada, zip, not a sausage in the way of feedback. It was one of those moments where I held my hands out, I’m like thousands have seen it by now and nobody felt it worth a comment?
I’m not normally like that, my premise has always been that if I post something worthy enough then people will comment. It is the sole reason that I never took part in the love our lurkers thing every year, because I didn’t want to ask people to comment. If what I posted was worth it then people will comment anyway and I would rather that they left a comment because I reached them in some way, than leaving a comment because I asked them to do so. So I guess what irked me was that I thought that I had found a classic but apparently nobody else did, and that sucked, lol.
So for the Wednesday classic this week I am going to do something a little different. Virtually everything that I do on this blog is through my own graft and is a representation of my way of being unique. That is what I feel is my offering to the spanking world, if another spanking blogger has posted it then I am not going copy their work. Readers shouldn’t come to my site to see the work of another blogger.
A biography of John Barrymore that I ran across many years ago reported that, when the allegations hit the papers that his marriage to Elaine Barrie was in trouble because of how hard he was spanking her in the play, he received a letter from a “Mother of Experience” who advised him to spank lower down on her bottom, would will look just as impressive but not hurt as much. Whether he took the advice, and how Elaine responded, are not recorded.
Hi Rich… Sorry I did not get a comment in to you regarding that truly great spank scene from “Act Your Age.” Trust me, many of us spankos did enjoy seeing it, and I for one agree with you about the quality of this pic. It is great. Maybe some day in the near future one of us will locate a sharper image of it, but for now we appreciate all you do for your readers.
I’m with you though, in appreciating the spank scenes you have found that date back to the middle of the 20th century. Things were much better then, regarding M/F spankings. Society in general had no problems with pics of a man spanking a deserving female, and in fact I have been to performances where the women laugh harder than the male customers, at an M/F OTK scene.
Thanks also for that picture of Elaine Barrie taking that famous spanking from “My Dear Children.” Leo Chalzel seems to be the spanker this time. I am sad that there was no movie version of that play, so that we could have a permanent record. By the way, it looks like Elaine is positioned even better, in her OTK pic, than she was in the pics from the Barrymore original.

Hi Richard, I think there must be some problem with reaching your site from my end. The last few times I have been there I found an entry from a month ago and another when I tried to comment to one of your stories I got an error message from my computer. I am sorry I was not able to comment on your recent find of ACT YOUR AGE as I do agree it was really great (now that I see it) and would have commented on it. I thank you for all your hard work in finding and posting these great pics and promise that I shall try to comment more as I do not want you to stop sharing with us. Because I keep a detailed list of all pics that I find, I hope to one day go into a library armed with my book of locations and start to take clearer copies of each pic. Right now I am limited to the Internet and trust me, even when I find pics I have to work hard to make them presentable.

The issues aren’t totally your own. Because of the amount of traffic I get I already have two warnings from my host domain over bandwidth, so what I do is I put up a cached version of my site. Normally there isn’t any problems, but occasionally the latest posts don’t show. Hopefully that will be fixed with a bug update.

BTW, Jim, I will never stop sharing. There was a time where I became a bit despondent that the material I find was being used to make other spanking sites popular without anybody crediting this site as the source, but that passed. You can’t teach courtesy so I just suck it up now.
