Two days ago I left a little box for people to ask me a question with the hopes of maybe getting a little reader interaction. Well,  48 hours later I received a grand total of four questions and one comment  🙂  Originally I had said that if I got twenty questions then I would do a Q and A,  but you know what,  in fairness to the four people who actually asked a question,  I am going to respond to them regardless. The four questions are in the image below. You will see that I have blocked out a portion of the comment,  not that it was anything bad,  I just want to protect the person who sent it and not allow anyone to start misinterpreting what was being said. I will be in touch with the person who sent it and maybe in a short while I will do a post that will show that the interaction was positive.

Question 1: What is your favourite decade for spanking photos ?

When this first question came in I got pretty excited,  thinking that I was going to get a lot of questions like this. The reason for the excitement is that I think it is a wonderful question.

My first exposure of spanking related material was in the late 70’s,  and even in the early 80’s the material that I was looking at was made in the 70’s. I grew up in England so this material didn’t resonate with me,  for one I found it too harsh,  and secondly was what I consider to be the biggest turn off to me in regards to spanking,  those awful school knickers.

They can be in blue,  green,  brown or white,  but the moment that I see them my brain switches off. My apologies to those who like them because I know that there are a great many of you,  but I find them hideous. It hadn’t been long since I had left school myself and I can positively assure you,  that’s not what the girls at my school were wearing  🙂  So there was a disconnect,  my vision of what spanking entailed was not being represented in the images that I was seeing.

Some time in the early 80’s on a trip to London,  I couldn’t find anything that I wanted and in a adult Soho shop I found an American spanking magazine. It was sealed so I couldn’t see what was inside,  but the cover image got me excited as to what it might entail. When I opened it my world changed. Inside the girls were wearing normal clothes,  the spankings were being given by hand or brush or paddle,  and the most important part the bottoms were a nice shiny red. It was what my personal vision of spanking meant to me. Over the years subsequent to that,  especially when I moved to America in the mid 80’s,  I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many magazines and videotapes I bought during those fledgling years. They totally shaped my enjoyment level in regards to spanking,  and the very limited first hand experience that I had with spanking echoed the images and scenes that I was viewing.

So while it may not appear so with the abundance of rare 1950’s spanking material that I post,  my favorite spanking images are actually from the 1980’s. My hope one day is that the companies who produced spanking during those days release all of the cutting room floor material that never made its way public. The 1980’s shaped me in the spanking world so it has a big place in my heart.

Question 2: Have you ever given any birthday spankings in real life similar to your spanking stories? unplanned spur of the moment with a non spanko?

Sadly,  no,  nothing like my spanking stories. Now I’m answering the question as specifically as it has been asked,  but in the terms of giving birthday spankings to vanillas then the answer is yes,  just not as I write about them.

You have to understand that I do not hide who I am from my network of vanilla friends,  every single one of them know what I do and they find it quite titillating. So there have been many times where a birthday spanking has consisted of a couple of smacks to a covered bottom. Perhaps the closest that I have come was in a bar that I used to drink in,  and the barmaid’s mom was out celebrating her 66th birthday. At the insistence of the barmaid I playfully gave her mom a standing birthday spanking. Going back to the question at hand though,  in the realm of the birthday spanking stories that I write,  nothing like that has ever occurred.

Question 3: Why don’t more people post spanking on panties photos?

I’m going to try my hardest not to get carried away here,  but I actually do have a philosophy as to why this does not occur as much as perhaps it used to.

When I first started in the spanking world it was a long time before we had the Internet,  and spanking back then wasn’t as sexualized as it perhaps is today. Our environment during my age pretty much consisted of what we saw on television and how spankings were represented in COMIC BOOKS. The spankings were literally just that,  it was about the actual spanking itself. It is probably why people such as myself could not care one iota where the spanking is given on the bare bottom or not,  in fact it probably resonates more with people like me when it is NOT given on the bare bottom.

Times of course change,  perhaps there was a time where it was illegal to combine sexual activity with scenes of S and M. I don’t know that for a fact,  I am just guessing. The Internet has changed the way people see things,  the boundaries of an individuals mindset has changed along with it. It is very common nowadays for a scene to be presented online where the spankee is buck naked,  I can’t even begin to tell you about the jokes I have had whenever I see yet another naked shower scene. Then of course there is the genital exposure,  whether that is from the wheelbarrow position or the butt cam positioned for maximum vaginal and anal exposure. To me that is just how things have evolved over time and it is what people now seem to gravitate more towards. I’m not knocking it,  it might not necessarily be my cup of tea but if that is what people want then more power to them.

There are still productions out there that cater to my taste,  you just have to look harder to find them. Many times I can watch a spanking scene up to a certain point that might reach me in the first few minutes,  and of course there is always Clips4sale where you can pick and choose what you get to watch. I grew up in a different decade where I formed my own view on what spanking should be presented like,  but it’s not that decade anymore,  the scene has evolved to where it is now. I’ve purchased a few clips from Clips4sale where the focus is on the spanking alone and the interaction between the participants.

Question 4: Are you going to the Shadow Lane Party this year?

At this point I am going to have to say no. When I post my memoirs in the next week or so about the trip that I took to Japan in November then things will become a bit more clear. I’m soon to be 56 years old and right now I am in a position to do something that I might not be able to do in the years to come,  so I’m going to take advantage of it.

My trip to Japan was the best thing that I have ever done and later this year I am going to be returning to Japan for a much longer trip. I’ve yet to work out the full details as to whether I will only go to Japan,  or if I am going to combine it as a split trip to Japan and South Korea,  probably the latter but that may change. I only saw just a brief piece of Japan during my stay,  there is so much more that I want to explore and experience both inside and outside of Tokyo. My goal at this stage is to go anywhere between three and four weeks for the trip of a lifetime.

Don’t get me wrong,  Japan was already the trip of a lifetime,  I’m just greedy for more. While I am able to be in a position to do this I am going to take full advantage of it,  so the only spanking party that I will be going to this year is the Party next month.
