It is game on guys, let’s get this thing rolling. Later tonight, when it is approved, I will add a video that I recorded for Spanking Tube to this post. If other blogs can link to this post I would appreciate it as I want to get the word out and find as many contestants as possible. Just click anywhere on the video screen below to watch the video.
What I need is for everyone who is taking part in the contest to respond either to this post or to my email houndog_windsor@yahoo.com so that I can add you to the email list.
Now for the contest itself. The rules are pretty simple because I believe that less is more. Anybody who wishes to participate will have up to 6 minutes to record a spanking video that they feel represents themselves. There are no parameters for WHAT you record, be as creative as you want, or just do an entire spanking video for 6 minutes, it is really up to you. You don’t even have to use 6 minutes for it, that really is just the limit that I am trying to keep to otherwise people might not watch the entire video. If you go slightly over 6 minutes don’t go busting a nut trying to edit it, it is supposed to be for fun and it won’t get you disqualified. I anticipate the contest having a series of opening rounds, 2 semi finals and a final, so if you enter you should expect to make up to 3 videos.
Now for the basic rules, and there aren’t many of them. First of all, please keep within the spirit of the contest. When you post your video to spanking tube you can feel free to direct people to come to this website and vote for your video. But let’s keep it at that eh? I really don’t want people spamming forums trying to solicit mass votes and I will put it to a vote should someone take that route. I get to see every link that people use to visit this site and I can follow them. Just look at my feedjit widget at the bottom of the left hand side of this blog and you will see what I mean.
The contest is supposed to have an amateur feel to it, so I would expect full time pro’s not to try and enter. If you have done “Some” online work, it won’t exclude you from the contest, especially if you are doing it with your regular partner. I think we all know what would constitute as being ‘In the business’, but it also allows people just starting out an opportunity to get their name out further. Either way, just because someone is in the business it doesn’t mean they would win anyway. Just look at the most viewed video on spanking tube and you will see it is a Husband and Wife doing a D/D spanking in which you see neither one’s face, but it totally rocks the house. Bear this in mind when you record as well, up to two cameras should be fine but for the most part I expect people to use one camera.
Now let me put this out there right now. Aside from what I said above regarding pro’s, this contest is open to ANYONE!!! If your preference is either M/F, F/F, F/M, M/M or self spanking, you are welcome and encouraged to participate in this contest. No one will be excluded unless it is something that is breaking the law. You never know what the audience is going to vote on, you really don’t. Some people would consider me as someone who was in the business, and I will tell you this much, the girl who was self spanking in the bathroom would have garnered serious consideration for my vote.
To end this segment, get your applications in right now by letting me know your email address and your interest. There is no cut off date until the contest actually starts, which I expect to be next week. Those details will come via email. Some people may not find out about this contest until the last minute though so entrants will have right up until the last day to register. I will also keep a running list of the entrants.
There is one other thing I would like to mention that isn’t in the video, and that is sponsorship. Right now I am going to supply the prizes from my own personal collection, whether they be videos or implements. However, I would be very much interested if a company out there would like to sponsor this event with a prize. It can be a 90 day membership to a site, free DVD’s, an implement from your stock, whatever you think you could donate to the winners I would very much appreciate it. Should I get a sponsor, in return I will put your banner at the top of every contest post free of any referral code or affiliate link. I will also add your name to the contest (I,e; The 2009 Spanking Tube Challenge sponsored by “Website address”)
Continue to ask questions and come back to the site later on today when the video is added to this post. Oh, and I’m not sure about all of the other contestants, but I think many of us probably have our own sites, blogs, etcetera. What if a sponsor came forward that would be willing to promote the winner in some fashion?

That is a good idea, Thomas. We might not actually get a sponsor straight away, but I think that once the word gets out then someone might be willing to jump on board.

Sounds great, we are excited…. Have some good ideas, will we be getting an email about the deadlines and what we have to post our submissions under, or if we just email them to you, or what? I like the sponser idea. Make it like britains got talent, where they get like a one month deal to make vids for a site at some amount, with an option to renew if the company gets good feedback on their stuff. I am sure someone will step forward, but i also know you will get a ton more people entering once a specific prize is announced. They get all the talent on those competition shows because they announce what everyone is competiting for at the beginning. Just a thought

1) your links, all except thomas, all are messed up. When you click it directs to something like richardwindsor.com/cookiecrawford.blogspot.com etc.. dunno why its doing that…
2) I have also linked it via my spankolife profile and all the spankolife groups, basically just linking people to this page. Spankolife has grown immensely recently now that its catching on so its a great place to find contestants if we are able to!!!

Thanks Kyle, yeah, I just caught that I guess as you were writing to let me know. Good point about spankolife. I also pretty much left a comment on every amateur spanking video on spankingtube in the hopes that we can get contestants.
Your choice of prize is a bit of a lofty goal though, I don’t have that kind of stroke (Jeff Jarrett reference) with anyone. I will be happy if a site comes through with a free membership or something.
At the end of the day, I am hoping that websites watch these videos and contact people anyway.

Lol love the video intro, nice job. I’d like to do this but not sure if I’ll have a regular enough partner to do 3 vids within a limited period, any idea how long this will go on? Not sure about self…hmm…sigh…lol. Anyway, looks like great fun, looking forward to it!

I went ahead and made an event on spankolife for the 2009 spankingtube challenge. I didnt really know what date to write so I just made it for like two weeks away. hopefully we can get some people over here that way as well. Spankolife is growing pretty fast.

Man, I was really hoping that we would get some extra contestants here. I emailed pretty much everyone who has a video up on spankingtube and other than the 5 originals I have had no extra people sign up.
Hopefully this weekend we will get some extra people involved, if not, I guess we can still have it with the 5 couples, assuming that Bill and Sarah are still in it.

Why wouldnt they be? I believe they went out of town, but to my knowledge they are still in it. If we can find three more people to enter, 8 couples is a good amount for a contest. easier to vote and you could even do Vs. rounds, like 2 vids a week… cookie/Thomas vs. Kyle/Kat and do eliminations that way. People vote who they want to move on and with 8 people it would only take 4 weeks unless you did two groupings a week such as Cookie/Thomas vs Kyle Kat and Lily Starr vs. Bill/Sarah. Just a thought.
